Madjack Golf Outing (Friday golf thread)

Dude, no shit. I actually played golf yesterday with some co-workers and I'll be damned if I didn't heel another tee shot into the friggin guys on the 18th green. Funny thing was I go get Captain Midnight (I have a tendency to name my balls, free shot right there) take a drop and proceed to line up my next shot. I proceed to brutalize the ball with a three wood and this thing cuts through the trees like a friggin beaver in a bathtub of balsa wood. Unfortunately, I had no idea where it went as I had lost my balance and slipped on the breathtaking follow through. Knowing how well I hit, I hit the ground just as I let go of the club and let go of an absolutely thunderous bellow, basically announcing that I was uproariously happy with my shot but not overly happy with my current situation. The echo sounded something like "fly you whoooorrrfoourfuuuucck"....thud........
Well, first problem. It was winter rule with alternate greens which meant I was aiming for the wrong green, upside, I bobbed that bitch ten foot from the hole on the correct green due to my poor playing skills. Second issue, my three wood was about to William Tell a co-workers wife waiting by the snack bar, upside, she's hideous. Third issue, the people putting were actually on our hole after all, upside, three women and one guy. Fourth issue, I'm not real good at maintaining a serious nature 8 beers into a round and when I walked up on Richard Simmons and three extras from Sweating to the Oldies, I lost it, upside, I didn't know they have gay and lesbian leagues and despite the chaps and ring pops were actually pretty good about it.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you I shot a 94 by the scorecards count. I also hit two walls that were attached to houses so blow me. :00hour
any update on friday play--format # of people per team?
--looks like Sat is out but spoke with Swig and said he might take off work Friday and we may drive up and back same same day if --(his words not mine) we could get some action.
Some of you may remember him playing barefooted after 10 holes on one madjack tourney.. (i have pics for any that are skeptical)

Friday is a 2 Man Best Ball format. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I know there are a few teams already put together. I will see if I can comb through this thread tonight and put together a list of teams.

That is good idea in case folks want to bet individually. As I expect this could turn out to be opt event for wagering.
