I do owe all of you and all that followed on the Atlanta game an apology. I should not have put insider info on the game if I was not 100% sure there was actually info on the game he sent me. Did I lie about having a guy that sends me emails about insider info, NO I didn't. I really get the emails, and he really does hit most of them. Would I like to continue posting, Yes. Like I said, I love this forum.. It is great. Am I trying to get people to pay for my plays, no, and I don't see how any of you actually believe that. I have no way of getting any of your emails, no way you can get mine, and there is no advertising on this site. All I want to do is try and help out. I have followed the rules on this, and will continue to follow the rules on this site. I will never post GOY, Game of the century, or Insider Information ever again. All I have really done on this site is give my plays, give service plays, and wish all of you luck. I haven't or never will advertise for a service on this site. When I posted I will never post here again if this play loses, I was just caught up in the guys hype on the play. I was just trying to stress that I thought it was a great play, and shouldn't lose. I am sorry for pissing any of you off, or making any of you lose money on that game. All I was asking for is a second chance.

888, this is as serious a reply as one will ever get on this forum.

You need help. If you really live in Kansas City, I can steer you in the right direction.

From no more posts to a parlay of the day and claiming to have bet what looks like winning two team parlays that weren't posted.

I'm seriously worried about you.

Why do so many posters here have a problem with this guy? Debating whether he should or shouldn't post? Come on. If you do not like him or feel he provides nothing for the forum, just IGNORE HIM. Don't open up his threads. Now if you feel he does offer something useful, then go read his posts.

I believe he is sincere in trying to be a productive poster at this site. He def. has not broken any rules and as far as I know doesn't make personal attacks. So leave the dude alone. He hasn't done anything wrong. If posting GOY's and INSIDE INFO upsets you, TOO BAD! Grow up and ignore him.

Now some may argue posting INSIDE INFO/GOY's misleads people, especially new gamblers. Well so what. Everyone is responsible for their own actions. If you really think he is legit, then bet with him. Hopefully he comes through. If you don't think he is legit, fade him or ignore him. Usually people only learn from their own mistakes. Often choosing to ignore good advice. How many posters here been burned by a bad service or service play looking for a big score?

I say leave the guy alone and if you dislike him simply ignore him.

Good luck capping 888!

Thanks Scott. Im also trying to sincerely apologize, but instead its a big joke. Some of you really do need to grow up. Seriously, you may not like me, but all I do is post plays, pass on service plays, wish you all luck, and congratulate on wins. Im sorry if this offends you.

Scott, you are really walking up a slippery slope with that attitued. Not saying its wrong or right, but needs some looking at. I"ll say I could care less if he posts again or not. I understand where he's coming from and what he's about. He might even be a great guy in real life. But there's reasons boards or monitored or moderated. I think reasons for banning should include blatant racism, threats of violence or harm, or flat out lying.

I mean, I understand that everyone is on their own accord and 100 percent agree with you on that. BUT, how far is too far? I mean a bunch of people have exposed false records in the past, and people lie all the time i guess or fib, it is cyberspace. BUT again, how far do you want it to go. I mean if you don't nip liars in the bud, then sites lose credibility. You will get 100's of posters all claiming game of the year, et al. Eventually 1 of the 100 will go on an 8 or 9 games streak, etc.
That's not the point. The point is, does Jack want to allow liars on his site. And although this is a public forum, it's still his site, and he has the last say. I mean what recourse do you have if he tells you to take a hike? The guy posted inside information on a game for the next day when the two teams were still playing. He later admitted there was no inside information. That's called lying. I'm sure some idiot followed him, and that's one too many.

Like I said, I have no ill will toward him or his service. He can stay or go as far as I'm concerned. Hell, we might have a great time getting drunk and watching sports if I ever met the guy. But the guy did post bogus information. He ran a poll and overwhelmingly was asked to leave. I mean what more do you have in cyberspace than your credibility?

Are you serious, you clown?

First, and foremost.......you are a liar. That in itself should make you scum in everyone's eyes here.

Secondly, you cry like a little bitch!

"Please take me back!"
"I'm sorry I did that....."
"I'm only here to help."

What are you, about 16? You come in here telling everyone you will stop posting, and make 30+ posts the next day! Do you have any fuking honor?

No one asked you to leave, from what I have seen. You said you would, and yet.......here you are! That makes us all the bad guys now?

Jack should run this place like Ebay, and whenever you see a poster, you see his "rating" as well.

I wonder how you would rate?

888, good luck man. Now you see why I don't post here much anymore. Most of these guys act like their s**t don't stink. Congrats to you Scott for defending him. Hey KC, why does he need help any more than the rest of us? There was no need for an apology 888, you lost, nobody's perfect. You might want to consider posting at a forum that actually appreciates your contributions. Oh BTW Six Five, you know where you can stick your poll? Peace out

This shit isnt to hard to figure out.888 is and has been a service. I have seen him admit it on many sites. I have seen him lie about his record many times this season. He has had about 10 GOYS,century etc. Me, I could care less I dont hate the guy but he is making himself look like an idiot. He lost a GOY on Toronto earlier this week then comes back and loses the Game of Millenium and promises to leave if he loses. They lost. Then he brings up a poll and swears ( then edits ) that he will leave if he loses the poll at the end of the day. Now he sees that wont work so he writes this god damn note. He is loving all this attention and this is a ****ing joke of a soap opera. 888 I have nothing against but just post your ****ing picks and quit putting GOY etc all the time. Just put in your picks. Why all the nonsense that has to come along with it. Are you that deprived of attention, cmon man. Then calling others idiots and shit, give me a break. You have brought all this on yourself with the continous threads. Like I said I dont follow anyone and make my own plays but many rookies buy into this and its not right. If you are going to continue to post here 888 I would suggest to just post your plays and leave it at that, its not too hard to do.

you're always here for the contests though, huh?

you really give back to the site what you take for free around here

so you think it's okay for people to lie about "inside information"? what about the unsuspecting kid that bets all his money on the play and loses it? as long as it isn't you, huh?

now you see why i dont post here much anymore :mj07: :mj07:

What? Not sure what you mean. Something wrong with sharing your opinion?

I agree.

Good points BDB. I def. can see your argument. Especially with having many posters saying GOY and INSIDE INFO. That is not fun to read. But did 888 break any rules?

I think many posters here get too personal. If you don't like someone, just ignore them. Why let people get under your skin. I am sure multiple posters bet big on his play and lost. That is gambling. They were not only gambling on the wager but on 888's credibility. Ask those who lost if they will do it again. I think 888 did a poor job explaining himself and why he felt strong about the wager. It did come across as lying. I agree. But he explained himself after the fact and seemed sincere. People don't want to cut him any slack. To those who don't want to cut him any slack, my question is, WHY CAN'T THEY IGNORE HIM? If this is to protect new people to gambling, maybe it would be a good idea if Madjack put a sticky post on top of each gambling forum explaining/warning posters of things. But I am not a big fan of babying people. If someone was really thinking of betting big on his play, maybe they should have posted and said do you think this guy is legit? Anybody know about him? Ask questions. If someone wants to bet their own $$$ blindly on someone elses play, that is there business.

I certianly don't bet 888's plays but I think he should be allowed to post. Maybe he should tone it down with the hype. Hell, maybe he is only 13 and wants people to like him therefore hypes his plays. Cut him some slack and see what happens.

888, your solution here is simple.... if you like posting here, just open a hotmail account and open up another username like everyone else does.... Then just don't post in the same way as you have been and you will be welcomed with open arms.... is it like anyone really KNOWS who you are?? (and if so, i gotta go with the folks that say you have an agenda)

First off, to echo a few thoughts, maybe he is a great guy and means well. OK, all well & good. I don't dislike the guy, So, I don't mean this as a bash, just my input & .02 worth.
What I frowned upon and alerted me was the record keeping inadequacies that were prevalent in the beginning and kept on growing. There was a "fudge" or error of units won which escalated bit by bit to at least some 70 something phantom units "won" that were not. I stopped keeping track after that as I had seen enough to let me know what was ahead. Someone else called him for it on a post, but it went unanswered and uncorrected. When the losses started to pile up, the record keeping stopped, the hole in the dam was too big to plug.
And, as everyone has seen recently, it has been somewhat downhill from there.
Usually, all a man has to be judged by around here is his cred & honor (and his picks !!).
