Golfed once in my life 12 years ago. Drunk of course.
Played twice last summer on a put put course with little kids and got destroyed.
One more thing......

i need this list updated. i got some emails saying they were "IN" but my email account got hacked while i was away and i lost most. i need to know who is bringing a guest as well.
this is the official commitment list. please, please, please don't get on the list if you can't make it. as far as i know, if you're on the list you're going to be there.
the golf tourney is july 14th and spend the night july 14th. let me know if the wife or GF is coming with you as well.
so far if you said you would make it, you're on the list. i didn't put you on the list if you said maybe. please ask to come off the list if you find out you cannot make it.

Not a scratch golfer by any means--I think it will be very hard to handicap players who have never seen the others play--but don't really think its a big deal as most important thing is it will be great time--even if you come in last.
Have one suggestion I think would add to excitement that we do here on occasions is let those who do not play but maybe once a year and shoot over a 100- hit from senior tees--if you have them. It gives thems much more enthusiasm as they don't walk up to tee and think their shot is not important.
Put the old timers (50 or 55 and over that play often off the middle tees and the flat bellies that play often off the back tees--and of course ladies off womens tees.
Would makes things interesting--especially for those that do not play much.

Not a bad idea, however ususally about 11 holes in I've had 7 or 8 beers and a few shots in the clubhouse after hole 9 and i cant even see the ball to hit it!!! :mj07: :toast:

1st tee time is 12pm.
It looks like we'll have 5 groups of 4 (close) with spectators.
we're going to have to try and have all spectators ride with a golfer.
alcohol on the course may be a problem as they do not have their license yet but i'll find out by gameday.
we're going to have to move along at a decent pace as to not slow down the people playing behind us, so we'll have to be at least semi-serious.
info i need-
(1) i need everybody to send me their best guess as to their handicap or what you would expect to shoot on a normal course.
(2) i need everybody to email me even if i already know how you play so i can keep a seperate folder if i need to contact everybody prior to gameday.
(3) i need to know if you, your gf or spouse or any non golfer is planning to being on the course watching. iow, i have to know who is going to be on the course and who is playing and who is not.
(4) i need your cell number and i'll send mine.
