Here
need ideas for prizes.

here's some obvious ones.

best team score
worst team score

closest to the pin (2 - 1 hole on front and 1 on the back)
longest drive (same as above)
longest putt (same as above)
most eagles
most birdies

need suggestions and will announce the day of the tournament prior to tee off.

i have a budget to stick to. it ain't too shabby but it's not unlimited either.

awards at my house at the cook out after play ;)

:00hour

So the ladies don't feel left out "wet t shirt" :00hour & make sure you get some good pictures :D

Shortest Drive :com:

Also, I have a buddy that lives in Louisville that usually shoots in the high 80s give or take a few, I can call him to see if he wants to play, probably a 15-17 handicap, if we still need a 4th player (seems like he would be fair on our team of scratch, @30, @40)

Thoughts?

what about....

best golf outfit (no pirate caddies)
best job of chirping while playing
best job of coming closest to your handicap

these could be voted on by the drunk peanut gallery :mj07:

Here
it's only about a 10 hour ride for your ass to get here. just do it.

i'm totally guessing on distance but i might be close.

I had to drive out that way to pick up the wifes jeep last year it's over 12 hours and I thought about it.

10 is a no brainer for me but about my limit. 12 is definitely pushing it.

damn good thing the airplane was invented :00hour

since you're retired, make it a 4 day "romantic" thing.

- drive 8 hours on friday and get a nice room - spend a romantic evening with the wife ;)

- up and early on saturday, like you do anyway, hit the road and meet us at the course by noon.

(have a big argument with agent on the first tee) :argue: :box2:

- party at my house after golf and if you can't get a room stay here.

- head back sunday

tada!

I just showed this to my wife & she said I should go. Boy I need to think about this if I didn't know what is was like to drive out there I would do it. Time is definitely not the issue it's the drive.Checked on a flight from Hays to Cinn & it was $722 :com: The funny thing is Agent is one of the guys here I would like to meet. You are making this hard for me because I thought long & hard on this before I decided against it.

bump this too

TEAMS

Agent 0659
lewehands
Phenom
Brad T.

Dogs That Bark
kosar
BobbyBlueChip
SixFive

dunclock
MadJack
yyz
bohawk

Wineguy
no pepper
bsucards
bsucards's buddy

Rolltide72
boilermaker
boilermaker's buddy
Gmroz22

Handi Capper and wife riding together
Intense Operator and GF riding together
Wineguy and fiancee riding together
DTB and wife riding together
Agent and Happy Hippo riding together

we'll figure out the other guys sharing carts later.

The only other person (I think) that is not accounted for is sixfive's wife. She can ride with him, she can go shopping, whatever :) Let me know if she changes her mind and will be on the course.

let me know if this is correct with spectators and cart partners.

We lost genosays so I'll wait to see if somebody else wants to fill in. If not, DTB has a buddy that can come or I can fill on this end. Depending on the player the teams may change accordingly.

* bold name = team captain :D

hope you can pull it off. that drive, especially alone, is misery. for me anyway. with the wife, maybe not so bad with the in between break ;)

1st one that grabs the last spot, gets it. teams might have to change if somebody with single digit hc wants in, that's all. we don't want "agent's" team to win, right? :mj07:

j/k slick (agent) :)

Nope, us air goes east united goes west, that's it,that's the problem living in a small town.
Not sure why it's so expense though just book a flight for my mother-in-law to come out in October & it was $377 from PA to here.
I'm going to hook up with you guys sooner or later for sure Boss. :00hour
