POOL OBJECTIVE: The objective of the pool is to earn as many points
as possible. The person with the most points at the end of the
tournament wins the pool. SCORING POINTS: You earn points by
correctly predicting the straight up winners of each tournament
game. There are 6 rounds and a total of 63 games, 32 games in the
first round, 16 games in the second round, etc.
The pool manager has set the point values per win as follow:
Round - Pts/Win

2 - 2
3 - 3
4 - 4
5 - 5
6 - 10 SCORING BY SEED:
Your pool does not use scoring by seed. PICK DEADLINE:
The pool manager has set the deadline for Wednesday, Mar-15 02:00 PM
Pacific Time. You may enter and change your picks until this time.
The pool manager may change this deadline but no entries will be
accepted once games start. STANDINGS:
Standings for this pool are based on points, where people with the
most points are ranked highest. Standings will be updated on the
tournamentpools website automatically as the tournament progresses.
You may also opt to receive score update emails, sent by the
website. TIEBREAKER: In the event of a tie in total points, the
first tiebreaker for this pool will be based on your points in Round
6. The person with the most points in that round wins the first
tiebreaker. In the event of a tie after the first tiebreaker the
second tiebreaker will be in effect. The second tiebreaker will be
based on your points in Round 1. The person with the most points in
that round wins the second tiebreaker.
If there is still a tie after both tiebreakers, the prize (or
bragging rights) will be split equally amoung all those who tie.
Alternatively, if you determine that a tie is possible after the 5th
round of the tournament, you can have everyone who is in the running
for the tie, submit a total point prediction for the championship
game. Then if there's a tie in points, the person closest to the
total points scored (going over or under doesn't matter) wins.
