Alrighty. I want to try to understand parlays. Is this right or wrong?

OK. Parlay = bet on more than one thing so you have to win all bets to win anything, right? So on one game odds = 2 to 1, right?

For two games odds = 2^2 to 1, or 4 to 1, right? So for 5 games odds = 2^5 to 1, or 32 to 1, right? So if you bet $1 you can win $32 if you get all 5 games right.

Is that right?
