Okay, since my next question on the botany homework is: Describe the effects, both positive and negative, of alcohol on health.

I'll let you guys know the answer in about 10 beers.

Okay, heading for #2, thought I'd share the good stuff.

Positive effects of small and moderate consumption of alcohol include reduced risk of coronary disease due to raised ?good cholesterol? levels that remove cholesterols from the walls of blood vessels and return it to the liver for degradation. Blood clotting is reduced in other ways due to alcohol consumption interacting with internal body chemistry. Some research indicates a decreased risk of type 2 diabetes. Alcohol can be used by our body as a nutrient and for energy. It has also been shown that the consumption of alcohol presents a decreased risk of some types of cancers.

I don't think I'll share the bad stuff, as I can't really prove any of THAT yet... ;)

Can anyone help me with any of these today?

Identify the following distilled beverages: grain neutral spirits, vodka, gin, whiskey, bourbon, and brandy.

Maybe Terry can help with the whiskey?

Perfect I.E. I think I'll turn that in and see what happens... :SIB

Things are looking up, only one chapter left on my "have to complete" study list, just talked to the neighbor who has an extremely hot wife, his niece is staying with them for a week, and she's good looking, and he invited me over for a fire and beer bash tonight. Did I mention that her husband is fishing with buddies and she's not happy about that, and is staying here for the week?

Smurph, how do I handle this? :)

For the record, I won't do anything, but hey, there are worse ways to spend an evening than getting drunk with a buddy and two hot women (that aren't your wife who is gone) around a fire on a cool summer night, and talking shit about stuff that pisses you off about the people who aren't there? Maybe I can get my other neighbor to fire up his hot tub, and we can all commiserate about life?

Possibilities, abound. Rapidly opening #4... :D

Botany homework done...
:00hour

Now, I can just cruise into the evening looking for trouble and slamming beers, or I can study some Psychology, knowing that I will have some excellent examples to work with here in the Sports Bar.

Maybe I'll do both - after marinating some chicken and cutting up some peppers, for ka-bobs.
