#2, back inside after finding several excuses to water "stuff" outside in the beautiful warm sunshine and blue sky - man, what a wonderful MN summer day. Not at the lake with the fam, but making the best of it.

Sorry for the gate incident Woodson, hang in there. Sounds like you had a nice weekend before that.

I gotta say, Jack, I'm guessing your ribs will be awesome, but I've never been a rib guy myself - just so much work and mess for not that much real meat. I know, I'm in the minority, and do like the flavor, but I'd rather just have a great cut of marinated meat. Different strokes for different folks - enjoy!

I agree. Love ribs but think I'm going to start smoking more briskets... KAtie loves them and they're great lunch meats as well.

Smoked a 13 pound brisket and had that yesterday. It was amazing!

Craving ahi tuna after all the bbq the last few days....

ribs were fair at best. too much rub, not enough sauce, too smokey tasting and, i don't know, just not pleased with the results like i was the last time.

i'm not a big ribs fan either; i am very picky and these didn't meet my satisfaction requirements. :shrug:

like apples - they can be my favorite fruit and they can be my least favorite fruit too. it all depends :shrug: ripeness, texture, taste, particular variety.

nah, pineapple is definitely my favorite fruit

Too much prep with the ribs just slap them on the grill brush some good sauce when they're almost done and some sauce after they're done, works for me :toast:

Sorry, took some time away to enjoy the sun and actually study some more - feeling good about sticking to task and yet enjoying my quiet weekend with no interruptions. Deeply into #5, and will definitely push the back of my 12-pack tonight!

I can't say how much more "sticking to task" I will accomplish tonight...and I don't care that much, either. :SIB
