ALTHOUGH! that surgery I had in November, the insurance covered $1000 of the $1500 total cost. That was nice.
I need a crown too but no root canal and I need it soon before I need the root canal, if you know what I'm saying. :sadwave:
For a root canal, I go to a guy that ONLY does root canals and he said I didn't need one (yet).
This guy charges $800 for a root canal :sadwave:
He's done all 3 that I've had and they were a breeze so I won't go anywhere else.
Seems like morris gets the best deal.

eye exam - I paid $10 co-pay, that's cool.
The contacts the eye dr sells I can buy online, same exact brand, exact, exact, to a tee. they want $80 a box, online is $40 a box so insurance means nothing.
I thought I might try glasses again and picked out a pair of progressive lens bifocals, whatever they are called. $475. I said 'what about my insurance? They said " well, insurance pays $100 and there's an $80 co-pay" WTF??

of course,after the root canal the dentist said there were "cracks" in the tooth abnd it wouldn`t be stable....
hence,the $1300 porcelain.....
i have another old crown that needs to be replaced....
