Balls Deep
Just picked some of this Cachaca up, for some Caipirinha's...if you haven't tried them, they are pretty tasty. It's the 'national drink' of Brazil.

It's just lime juice muddled with sugar, plus cachaca on the rocks.

Balls Deep
Dawgball has a good one in this thread somewhere. It uses fresh limes :toast:

For me I've found the best margarita recipe. It's simple and damn tasty, always gets a thumbs up from guests.

The standard recipe is as follows...tequila, lime juice, simple sugar (equal parts water and sugar), in a 3:2:1 ratio. Of course I like to kick up the tequila a notch so this is what I do:

4 oz fresh lime juice (will take 3-4 limes)
3-4 oz simple syrup (put 1/2 cup sugar on stove w/ 1/2 cup water and heat to dissolve it to make the syrup)
7-8 oz tequila
Splash of Grand Marnier, Cointreau or triple sec.

This will make 2 high ball glasses worth each for 2 people.

Do not put more than a splash of the grand marnier it will ruin the drink.

Put on ice in a shaker and shake those bitches up.

I like them because they are simple, and damn tasty. Don't go for top notch tequila on this, that's for sipping, middle of the road will do.

I'd love to have you guys try this and get some feedback.
