Thanks for the reply. I was asking because my brother from Chicago might be on the east coast in early August, but wont know for sure till late June or early July.....so I was just wondering. I look forward to meeting you and the rest of the crew.

I would love to see ya there. In fact, come east a day early and I'll ask Uncle Sam if I can take off work to give you the full guided tour of downtown Baltimore and all it has to offer. Then we can carpool cuz I hate making that 3 hour drive alone.

Working on looking into a few places we might be able to get group rates in AC right now. At least I'm looking into it if x and x amount of people stay there. Maybe we might be able to catch some discounts if there is a favorite? What do youand others think??
Are there any favorites, I have heard that if you get so many people to book at the same hotel and say they are with the "MJ party, convention, etc." you might be able to get a discounted rate. Any favorites? I like most of the casinos/hotels but have only stayed in the Trop and the Holiday Inn on the Boardwalk.
I have heard the Taj is the best.

Don't know if you've had any luck, but when we looked into it before, there wasn't a lot of interest from the hotels. At least 'interest' as far as big discounts go. And like you mentioned, it's hard to get people to commit to staying at a particular place, at least far enough in advance.

We're still figuring on an early/mid-morning tee time on that saturday. I'll have the exact details in a few days.

How bout a warm Madjacks round of applause and show of appreciation for all that Tara and Kosar have done in putting together this anxiously anticipated mid-summer weekend on the eastern shore. I truly am looking forward to meeting all the wonderful young and eager minds who frequent this forum and who post, on a daily basis, mind you, such astute, insightful and otherwise awe-inspiring messages.
While I'm in a thankful mood, I also want to show my heart felt appreciation for Ctown, Blitz, Freezer, Dogs, EC, Fat & Sassy, Wilson, and the others too numerous to mention with this limited broadband space, who put their daily thoughts, wishes, desires, opinions and other nonsensical disjointed drivle on these pages, I thank thee. For without such nonsense, I would realize how insignificant and petty my life would be. Based upon you gentlemen, I realize that there is a basement far below the ground and life paths that I take. Thank you. Thank you.

We're going to figure on an 8:00-10am tee time on that saturday, August 7, at brigantinegolf.com in Brigantine, a few miles out of AC. I talked to them and they won't book tee times until it's within 14 days of the day we want to play.
The guy said it won't be any problem to get on if I call 10-14 days out. For now, i'm going to figure on 2 foursomes. If more people are planning on playing, just post it here.
