i thought he handled that optional presser at the combine very well.....took all the questions and did a much better job than i expected him to.....apparently,that wasn`t good enough...now they`re intimating that the guy`s gay.....

he f`ed up...still,i`m starting to root for the guy....i hope he has a decent nfl career...
A lot of gay guys played in the NFL, Jerry Smith for one, the other Smith that was a RB for Oakland, there are countless others. MLB, NBA and Hockey have them as well, military finally had a coming out, it's part of our culture in America, if he can compete let him, if he can't compete, don't let him.

Who cares about their focking sexuality preference, really? As long as he leaves my dog, kids and wife alone, he's ok in my book!

Later!

many of these kids look horrible in trials

how many were thought to be too small or too slow at combine that turned into hofers!

Look at Brady a 6th rounder gem been to 5 Super bowls won 3 of them

Joe Monatana was thought to be a bust nothing at all as a QB But That HC of 49ers saw something in Him and rescued him from rookie Hell at Tampa Bay

There is a long list of superstars in nfl that had sub average numbers in combines

it's all about adapting to speed of NFL and the media

you know something when i think about Eagles MC Naaab how good he could have been

you know something when i think about Eagles MC Naaab how good he could have been

IF the fucks gave him the recivers to throw to instead of that bunch of rejects he had when 1st with Eagles

Pinkston OMFG wore a dress would not even try to catch a ball if defender was within 5 yards

Freddie Mitchell at best #3 wr

fuck cant even remember names of the other pisss poor wr's and NO real TE's to block or get open for 1st down.

How good he could have been after leaving with the wr's and te's and RB eagles currently have that made mike Vick look great !

Pittsburgh Steelers: Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame
NotreDame_logo.gif

Manti Te'o had a miserable Combine. He ran a 4.82 40 and later blamed it on fatigue (as if the other players weren't tired). He looked stiff in the drills. Worst of all, he drew that ridiculous press conference. Te'o handled himself well in front of the media, but the press conference itself was the major problem. No team wants to deal with the media circus that will come with acquiring Te'o.

The Steelers, as they always do, catch a falling prospect. Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette recently reported that the Steelers could be targeting an inside linebacker early in the 2013 NFL Draft.

32. Baltimore Ravens - Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame (6'2" 245)
It's going to be a circus for Te'o wherever he ends up with the long shadow of the fake girlfriend story (and him perpetuating the hoax after he found out it was a con), and if he thought the pressure of the NFL combine was tough, just imagine being the man assigned the task of replacing Ray Lewis. Certain windtalking type code from connected reporters has indicated that Te'o is more likely than not to go in the first round, so for now I'm keeping him in this spot. But the excuses are getting old and this is an ultra high-stakes competition, and he really needs a strong pro day to boost his cause.

While some may be confused by this selection, Washington would play the WILB position and Te'O is a good fit on the strong side. Te'o is a much-maligned prospect that is seeing his draft stock take a bit of a tumble due to the off-field questions surrounding his "girlfriend" and his mediocre Combine performance. That being said, the tape shows a 4-year solid Linebacker that has good instincts and ability. He would be a great fit inside in a 3-4 alignment, where the NT and DEs can eat up blockers for him. </td></tr></tbody></table>

All night long Manti was online discussing where he would be taken with a prominent NFL GM. That GM guaranteed that his team would be taking the linebacker.

In fact, Teo fell asleep at his keyboard when talking to the GM. That gives him strength along with his believe in another invisible spirit who gives him guidance.

Peace.
