This place is amazing.
Everybody eats only a healthy diet, everybody regularly goes to the gym, everybody here is honest, always wins when they gamble, are very well to do financially, and now we can add to the list that they all live a fairy tale marriage. On their first try yet.

Married 36 years to a Texan.Met her at North Texas State dribbling a basketball between my legs a la Pistol Pete.Have 3 daughters and a son and now a grand daughter Molly Wray...my wife is a saint staying with me all these years....coaching basketball for 23 years takes a lot out of a relationship..missed many of my own kids highlights growing up.Now I'm catching up somewhat....
.Quick Box story today..and after 36 years of marriage...went to my local deli for breakfast this morning..All my boys are there hanging out talking sports,politics,etc....I read my local paper..I hit the NY 3 digit lotto..139....won $250...that number hasn't hit in 10 months..play $3 everyday for 364 days of the year..no lotto on X-mas day...told everyone when I go home and tell my wife I hit the lotto she will say" great,how much are you down now for the year."Instead of saying congratulations.
So after hanging out for an hour I go home...tell her" hon,I hit my number"....and after 36 years knowing her she says " great,you have to hit it how many more times to break even this year...."
Now some of you might say " why tell her". Because at some point today she will read the paper and see what numbers hit.....as the great coach Hubie Brown once said" the dog may bark but the caravan moves on".
Today my whole family is here.My son flew in from Texas yesterday.We are going to Lake..something near Saratoga...we have a house on the lake for a week. I can only stay for 3 days...its on an island..no tv,cell phones,etc..to get to the house you take a poontoon,or motor boat..the house looks like the house in the movie " What about Bob".
Tomorrow morning when I get up early I have to take a paddle boat or row boat to the store on the lake to get my newspaper and coffee....will also go to the saratoga race track tomr afternoon....

Been married 12 years and very happy.
Just a side note about vacations in the solitude.
Our son, grandson, wife come to Georgia and we rent a house in the boonies of Elijay Ga. It is on a mountain all by itself on 60 acres. We actually rented two houses and went back an forth on the same property.
What they didnt tell us is that it is pretty much straight up trying to get anywhere.
It was beautiful and peacefull. At night the katydids would make such a loud noise like I have never heard in my life. It was a bug symphony.
It had its own swimming hole fed by four mountain creeks. Dog friendly and alot of places to hang out.
Great time swimming with the grandson and dogs in that little pond.
About 4 days into the trip , my son asks me to go mountain biking as they have brought their bikes. I get on daughter in laws and push it up the mountain while he is riding ahead of me. Not sure how far we went about 2 miles maybe.
So now we are going down. I get on without having ridden a mountain bike or any bike in about 20 years. The road is very craggy with rocks and chit all over the place.
I notice I am picking up speed. As a matter of fact I am doing about 30 mph.
So I hit the brake on the left handlebar and press it kind of hard. I end up doing a double 360 axle type
barrel roll , land in a ravine and am knocked out cold.
Son is behind me and he gets on the cell phone to call my wife . Then they call 911
I am out for over 5 minutes and they cannot wake me up. I am bleeding profusly on the head from a gash where I hit a rock,
Ends up I have a 3 level concussion.
Now here is the moral of the story. The ambulance not only has a hard time finding the place. They have a hard time even driving up the road to where I am at. It took them about a 45min to get there.
Then when they get there they say that I will need a CT scan and the local hospitals dont have them.
They say I will have to be life flighted by helicopter to Chattanooga Tenn, the closest hospital available at that time. By then it was after 9 pm
so they take me and the CT scan comes out neg.
I have to have stitchs in my right eye.
Right now almost a month later I cannot feel my teeth on the upper right side and my lip and cheek is numb. I must have struck a nerve . My gen doctor said it may take 3 months for that to heal.
Anyways. It could have been any one of us as accidents happen.
From now on I will know where the nearest hospitals are and have some kind of a plan if somone is hurt .
Being out that far with no help is not a good idea.
There are things that can happen where 45 min waiting for a ambulance and hours to get to a hospital and you can be done for if its a heart attack , stroke, appendix, or any other medical emergency your not expecting.
