I met a lot of good people because of this hobby I started back in '98 when I got my first PC.

How many others are here, or were here, from the AOL posting board where we first crossed paths, Jack?

15 yrs and we still haven't met in person. My bad. :facepalm:

I'll plan on attending the 30th anniversary party--putting it on the calendar right now....:mj07:

Thanks for hanging around, folks.

I met a lot of good people because of this hobby I started back in '98 when I got my first PC.

There are a shitpile of great memories.

A lot of shit has changed during those 15 years, too. For me and most everybody here.

The site got fairly big by 2001/2 and I was able to sell my hearing aid business and do this full time.

Divorced and remarried.

Moved to Indiana. :scared

11 year old little league son, now a 26 year old man.

3 grand children.

Then the greedy politicians were able to change laws and make it hard for people to transfer money to the sportsbooks which shut down many sportsbooks and I had to get a real job once again.

Some of our members were in fucking elementary school when I started this site.

Some members have teenagers now and were childless when they joined.

Some members left and 10 years later came back and were surprised to see us still here.

The list could go on and on.

Back in the early 00's, my dad would tell people about this site and say "There is ESPN and then there's madjacksports." :lol:

RIP dad, we're still here.

And thank you, IE, for being here since the beginning. :toast:
