Yeah hers has the extension cord option too but the fucking lights dim in the house and the cat hides downstairs when she turns it on. Sometimes the computer reboots too. I think that depends if the AC is running.

Sounds like the same one the ex had. Fucking neighbors TV would get fuzzy when she turned it on. It had this huge suction cup on the base to stick to the headboard or whatever.
