Is your dinner on the grill yet? Or are you waiting for the charcoals to get ready? Damn, I just got up because of my dog, and see that fdc has gone off, even on the hedman. Pretty bad if I do say myself. I side with hedman on the correct thing here. Just sayin.

I just had a bacon, egg and cheese sammich :0074

my friend, I do not pick sides in these things and I really wish there would not be all these personal attacks ... do not see the reason behind it arguing over a keyboard ... you know that whenever any of us get together it is always a great time :0074

some egg it on ... some go out of there way to constantly attack others ... and then others jump in for no reason ... there is really no need in most any of it

Hey, I was drunk.

Hey, I was drunk

I seem to be hearing that a lot recently as an excuse for someone's actions and I don't understand how people think that is their get out of jail free card.

I spend a good bit of time at the local casino (more than I should probably, meh....) and a guy got tossed out for what was apparently the last time as security told him if he ever came back he would be arrested for trespassing.

That happened around 11:00 one night and I was there the next day around 2:00 (I know) and sure enough he came back in wanting to talk with a manager. I was surprised the conversation took place on the floor and not in an office, but his excuse was he was drunk.

Keep in mind he proclaimed it like he was proud of it or at least expecting them to understand and side with him. They of course tossed him back out quickly. I just don't understand how someone thinks getting drunk makes them not responsible for their actions.

Extended family member who got caught cheating on his wife explained "I was drunk, it's not my fault". Really?

I've heard this a lot lately and wonder if anyone here subscribes to the theory that it isn't your fault if your shit faced?

JUDGEMENT!!! Homeowner already went to Court. Cant skip that important step. You cant take an invoice or contract to a sheriff and say enforce this. Judge has to decide who is right and then with a JUDGEMENT you can have it enforced. You skipped quite a few steps, so yeah Ill still take that bet that Jack cant go get his concrete back with his unpaid invoice and the consumer who has a bitch about his performance of his part of the contract.

Yes, I'm dumbly assuming that before you go to the sherrif to ask for your shit back you actually have gone the proper channels.
Correct, you can't just walk over the the police department and ask them to get your shit back, you need to go through and take the 30 minutes to do the paperwork and follow the procedures.

Because even when you get the judgement against her, getting her to pay it isn't guaranteed. Hence, the need to go to the sherriff and have it enforced.

Yeah most civil suits take about 30 minutes, ugh or 6 months to get through the Court system and get a Judgment. Hell, the quickest you can get a summary Judgment if the Defendant doesnt even Answer is 30 DAYS in most states, then you have to wait for the Judge to deem it worth using some of their time to sign it.
