Hey Pug. Welcome. If you hang around the general discussion forum for awhile, you will soon be defending and rebutting then numerous outlandish, moronic, and media-supported anti-lawyer drivel that apparently sexually stimulates many of our intellectually challenged regular contributors.
Names such as Dr. Freeze, Bombs, Dogs That Bark, 65, Wilson, Pro, Blitz, Vyrus and many others too numerous to mention, which you will soon become familiar with, feed off of the corporate media/republican/insurance and medical industry's anti-lawyer spin and propoganda.
I mean I recall several posts where some of the aforementioned Nazi youth blamed lawyers for the sinking of the Titanic. Oh yeah, and Clinton was involved in that too. Take it easy on Dogs That Bark aka Wayne, he is the boards unofficial insurance industry spokesman. As you can imagine, he has an economic stake in referring to the Stella awards and other right wing lies to support his radical right positions. You will generally see a link to Fox news (sic) or the National Review to support positions and idealogues what he claims are mainstream.
Lighten up on Dr. Freeze. He is very ill. Read his posts, chuckle to yourself, then go on without responding, always keeping in mind that his illness, although kept in check by the many advances in psychotropic medications, is incurable. Similarly, with Bombs, he is young. When reading these two individuals posts, always remember what the good Lord said:
"Father forgive them for they no naught what they do."
Vyrus, well, I could go on and on about our dear Vyrus. Bandwith and time do not permit me to update you on our very own Vyrus other than to advise you that he became quite wealthy at a very tender age, owns multiple homes in the nicest locations in southern California, has a gang, and is a member of royalty.
However, I recommend that if you make a bet with him, get a third person to hold each of your bets until a winner is declared. Apparently he has some trouble with the United States postal service and various charitable institutions.
I'm glad to see you here. Very few lawyers post here and those that do seem to be, shall we say, on the side of the devil. However, be prepared to be in the minority, fend off unwarrented attacks and otherwise take a lot of ill-informed abuse from the majority. I love being the underdog.
Bombs, I'm sure the members of the board are quite impressed with your academic qualifications. The "about" fourt ER's that you worked at, were they in major cities? Do you have some trouble figuring out if you worked at 3, 4 or 5 ER's? I know thats a big number but, would think that you could be a little more certain as to the number of hospitals you "worked" at. By the way, could you define work?
I mean, I had a client a couple of years ago that worked at Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Bethesda Hospital here in my lovely mid-sized midwestern city. He was a janitor. So considering your very questionable statement that all ER patients get a CT, your crediblity, like that of Vyrus, is somewhat in doubt. I mean were they all-night veterenarian hospitals?
Freezer, I love your compassionate conservatism you big, cuddly angel of mercy who just wants to help people, you.
Eddie
