Men the Master dukes it out at the Bellagio

BDB, how can you stand playing poker with these miserable fuks all the time? regular poker players (pros?) are one of thee most miserable breeds out there.

Men is in the 5 seat and the older gentlemen is in the 9 seat on Table 24 right near the mid-stake podium. It seems a hand went down where there was some argument on the action went down. Men and this mid-50s white gentleman are involved. Men gets a free card or something like that and puts a bad beat (double counterfeit) on the older guy. The older guy gets pissed off and throws his cards at Men. Men then gives him a solid, ?F-YOU? and the guy then throws a water bottle at him.

This is where I?m not 100% sure if Men threw the Corona bottle or Men?s side kick threw the bottle (as both were drinking Coronas) but one of them throws the bottle at the older guy and it hits him in the head (I?m 90% sure it was Men). He gets up and lunges at Men and Men?s sidekick intercepts. Many punches are thrown, chips are spilled, and all hell breaks loose as the screaming and yelling from all other tables mixes in. The fight was so furious I would describe it as two dogs trying to tear each other apart. There floor guys grab all three of them as Men was headed out of his seat to join in the fight. They break it up, security shows up, some jacka$$ from the high limit room stairs starts a, ?Men, Men, Men, Men? cheer, the floor tells that idiot to STFU, chips are everywhere, the whole card room is standing up, the commotion is loud, the games have stopped, the floor is yelling at others to back up and go back to their games, some do, most don?t. They pull Men?s sidekick over in front of Bobby?s room. The older guy has a huge welt around this left eye and is bleeding.

Security removes the older guy and the floor is trying to get everyone away from the table so they can sort out the spilled chips. Then they remove Men?s sidekick and Men. After about 20 minutes all is returned to normal.

This is why I love ONLINE poker, dont have to worry about this shit, and dont have to listen to these aholes try to convince you how bad you are and how good they are. Hell, its enough entertainment to read what these degenerates type in the chat. :mj07:

let's say ol boy had ducks and the board was 345 after the flop. he's got his pair of 2's and an open ended straight draw. The master could be sitting with Ace 7 and a double belly buster str8 draw, they get their money in and the turn comes a 3 and the river a 4

giving men 2 pair 3's and 4's ace kicker
and old man 2 pair 3's and 4's 5 kicker. playing the board

his pair was double counterfeited when the board over paired twice - aka runner runnered

you see the term counterfeited more in omaha high low where you have and ace or a deuce come late to counterfeit your low

most poker players are miserable fcks. i guess i'm an example. and men is the most dispacable disgusting piece of chit out there. he's also a ridiculous angle-shooter. i have some stories. only played with him once 4 years ago at the world series. he's scum.

Always wondered how people play with headphones in livegames. Dont you not hear whats going on and how much raises are, ect? It just seems like it'd kind of put you out of the element of the game.

-acting out of turn for his benefit

-shorting the pot

-exposing cards for his benefit

-taking tourney chips off the table to use later, or give to friends or have friends take chips off to give to him

-hiding larger denomination chips behind his stack

-just plain old out and out cheating

-collusion

instead of letting the natural occurence of tilt, they try to force a play into tilt

purposely putting in more chips than a call but not enough to constitue a raise just to see if they can get a reaction from the person that made the bet. if the initial better argues that it's a raise then he most likely has a big hand.

Basically, you are only allowed one motion into the pot, UNLESS you annonce your intentions.

IE: You say raise, but bring out a pile of chips into the pot(larger than just the call), and then go back to your stack grab another pile and put them. This is not allowed, HOWEVER if you say at any time during that, "5,000" for example...then you can go back and grab chips until you get the correct amount.

So you could say raise, and put in enough to call the bet, then bring out your "raise". But you can't do the raise in 2 motions.

in our game, this guy puts in his call, rechecks his cards and then announces a raise. in this case your actions speak louder than your words.

usually someone has started to act behind him, but it doesnt matter. his actions, unannounced, indicates a call.

the other one that causes duress during our game, is the guy that says, i call your $$ and raise you $$. just like his online hand summary says. go try that in poker room and see if it works. you can call or you can raise. you say i call in a poker room, then you call.
