FLORIDA MARLINS -110 - I posted my 5th consecutive Free Play victory last night with the Mets/Marlins Under, as Dontrelle Willis tossed a masterpiece in a 1-0 victory. I am staying with the same matchup tonight, only this time looking at the Florida Side. Granted, Seo has been pitching brilliantly lately, but I would go against the Mets on the road at a price close to Pick?em like this just about every time! The Mets may have gained some confidence with some big wins on the road vs. Texas and Anaheim last week, but they returned to their sputtering ways last night as they finally started facing some quality pitching again. As scary as Willis looked last night, consider that Carl Pavano actually has a LOWER ratio of 1.19 this season, and he held the Mets to 2 runs and 5 hits in 6 innings the last time he faced them. While he was hit hard in his last start at Milwaukee, Pavano has recorded an impressive 6 Quality Starts in his last 7 home starts, as he has learned to take full advantage of this pitcher?s ballpark. While Seo has a remarkable 2.88 ERA in 12 starts this season, he still does not impress me and I think he is in line for a correction. After all, he has moderate velocity at best, as indicated by the fact that he has just 42 strikeouts in 81.1 innings, and he is a fly ball pitcher with a GB/FB ratio of 0.64, a combination not normally conducive to winning baseball.
