DOC, DOC, DOC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you should be ashamed of yourself :p

being stomped on by a horse is nothing in comparison to getting whooped on by a ticked off mother in law :)

don't you remember that *old school* arranged italian marriage that was set up at the campground?????

and DANG.....if you don't have any front teeth, what was it you bit me with? ;)

FYI

FYI

You need to stay up in the mountain area of Acapulco

It's 70 degrees day and night

the city itself gets hotter than hell but high the breeze is constant

I stayed in a villa that was phenomenol with a 3 person house crew that waited on us 12 hours a day

I gained 15 pounds in one week

We could look down to the city directly below. If I wanted crowds, just walk/cab down. If I didn't, just stay and drink/eat by our own pool and be attended on.

The house we stayed at is not shown in this site, but these are the operators. The own/operate properties all over the place at various prices. I know some people with some $$ that know them. Some friends of mine go quite regularly down to Acapulco. Guys will just throw a few things in a bag and cut out. This is not cheap. I don't know what you are looking for. But it was great. I am not by any means loaded but IMO it is very worth while to go this route (villa with housecrew).

I can hook you up with the cook (and her son) and the houseboy we used. Grade A. Trustworthy and will go out of their way for you regarding ANYTHING. 3 awesome homemade meals, discussed the day before to your desire. All clothes etc taken care of. Marco went out with us swordfishing and waited on us hand and foot. Knows the city and the shops and knows everydody that would have knowledge on something he doesn't.

The villa we lived in for a week was not too high end. We went out on a site-seeing type event and were picked up by a van filled with people. Many of them were staying at the high end hotel that you could see from our villa, and wanted to hear about our setup. They said they would have much rather had our situation. I will never stay in a hotel again. (If this helps) It was near the top of the mountain above the stretch of bars. At the very top is a high end restaurant that is well known and stands out.

You can get the very staff we used. They will work at any location, and do all kinds of functions from mansions, yachts, celebrities, to everyday Joe's like me.

If you need anything else, get my email from Jack.

I will be back down there again in the near future. My tip, go off-season. Not too many bodies and all the help of the city is eager to work for your money.

Worst thing about Acapulco...
No Crown Royal to be found. I had to go down there with 4 bottles stashed in our suitecases. That is the only liquor outside of beer I drink.

Dr. Strangelove: "I highly recommend Myan Rivera, best resorts I have seen in Mexico including most of the caribbean. "

I am considering Maroma Resort on the Riviera Maya for a honey moon in August. Any ideas? Have you heard of the place? Will it be to hot in August?

thanks

very nice place... you will find that is gets quite warm in august, but its your honeymoon so do you really have a choice?

The resort looks fantatic, you will see that Riviera Maya has some really nice beaches (some of the best in the world).

Best of luck and enjoy
