What a great football game. Hats off to Michigan State. They will represent the Big Ten well in the playoff and I'll be a huge fan of theirs as they play the season out.
Extremely proud of my Hawkeyes and the effort and intensity they showed tonight. I truly thought this game would be a 17 or more point win for Sparty and I never been more happy to be wrong in my prediction.
I lost a ton of money betting on the over tonight but I could care less; I don't gamble with money I can't afford to lose and I've had a very nice start to the hockey season so its money I've won rather than digging into my pocket to make the wager.

Never been prouder to be an Iowan or to be a graduate of the University of Iowa than I am tonight. The better team won and it was an epic battle; Iowa just came up short.
