yes, he quit his cozy comfortable government job back in 1998 I think it was. He was the one that told me to buy gold and silver back like 2 years ago, and of course I didnt  Now he just sits home plays the market and plays games.

Damn, that is the fawkin life. I am shooting for that, but the market is tough, and with kids you can never get away w/that, but us young guys dont have kids, I guess if you bet enough per game, or have enough plays, you can pull it off, Kudos to him though, but i assume he had some financial cushion before quitting, Is great to work from home though I know a few guys that do it, no boss or commute every day ;) ;)

When I logged into my 5dimes account this morning, I was startled wide awake when I saw my account balance had doubled overnight!  WOW! I never even checked on a single scoring update last night. In fact, I lost track of the parlay I played because of other commitments yesterday, and I had meant to add another separate parlay when a Portland moneyline was available. That's my loss, but no complaints here.

Thank you, Hellah. And thank your friend. :D GO ROCKETS (+1')!

Thanks Hellah, for posting those games yesterday. I liked two of the picks (NOR and CLE) and was at the LV Club betting them and saw that the lines had moved in our favor on three of the other games (DET, MILW,). I played five of the plays, then added CA ST-NR at the last minute. Last week, I got buried with CAL ST-NR when they lost outright at -6, and now were playing a rematch. Hit them with a bet, and had all of them come in -- a fantastic night, thanks to you! Very much appreciate the time and the work you do.

Did anyone notice Hellah's work here?

I woke up late and missed a few of the plays, but he did outstanding with these plays. I went 220/200 on each of the games -- played ten in all, and look like it's going to be an 8-2 night if Bosie hangs on.

All I want to say is -- thank you! Hellah and his man vame through again.

Yea Nolan, amazing, that guy is feeling it, he is a pro capper/stock guy according to hellah, so he obviously is somewhat of a "wise guy" although I don't know the definition of a wise guy, but nice job, and that's what this board is for, he nailed that MAC 301, hence hes from toledo, mac country, glad to see you posting, Ive emailed you before and I respect you andf enjoy talking to you, I emailed you about the knicks and living in las vegas a few times back in the day;) thanks for posting hellah

oh yeah, we sure did notice.

Hellah, thanks a bunch man, you didn't have to share but did.

What is funny is that I didn't think twice about coattailing this guy 100% because of what kind of a guy hellah is and what respect I have for him.

thx dude.

Anybody not know how this story ends?

For those trying to ride a hot streak that haven't benefitted from it already, be careful.

I'm surprised with your responses, Nolan. You put in too much time on your own to try and benefit from blind plays posted after one full day of success.

Good luck to all

There's always some one that will try and turn a good thing into a downer.:nono:

This whole gambling forum is to exchange info and plays and in this case a few people took this guys advice and made their own decision to play this guys plays and they came thru, really came thru and now bobbie comes in and starts to "djv" everyone.

In the NCAA Hoops forum there was probably 100 posts on tonight's games and some lost some won, but by far this guys plays were on top on this day, so why not just let it go, and be happy for the ones that made a killing today:tongue :nutkick

Bobby, you can't help those that don't want to be helped. Posting something negative in a thread like this does very little good. People who believe in the Tooth Fairy are going to keep riding this guy and people who don't will stick to their normal betting patterns no matter what anyone writes at this point. This guy is on a fantastic run and I am just glad that people who post and lurk on this forum are turning a good short term profit because of it.

Bobby:

I've read many of your posts over the years and I presume you meant no harm from the remark. I agree with Nick D and others that it's not cool to come into the party and piss in the punchbowl.

That said,

I'm ALWAYS looking for an edge, and try to find it no matter where I can get it. There are several cappers here that I follow -- some because of their analysis, others because of their posted records, and still others who actually trigger a contrarian bet because I disagree with the capping. You win some, and you lose some.

If I were to list all of the cappers I have played, based on their work, that list would certaly run into a hundred or more (over the past four years -- which is the length of time I have been here). Jimeniz, Hoops, Fletcher, Hellah, NY Raider and some others are just a few of the people I have made money with at various times.

One of my favorite MJS stories is when I was stuck about $5K a couple of years ago, and then started riding NDNFAN in baseball. I got clean in a week and was up a dime, whenhe went sometthing like 15-2 over a 8-day span. Of course, NDNFAN and others (me) will have ups and downs, but if someone has solid handicapping skills and is hot, that seems to perpetuate itself to a certain extent.

When Hellah mentions anything about the MAC, I listen. It's that simple.

I could go on with other examples -- but you get the idea.

On these plays, I mentioned that I was on some of the NBA plays myself, then hit them extra hard when I saw someone I respect was also touting the play. After kicking some ass and pocketing some nice coin the previous day, I pretty much said what the f*ck and decided I'd shoot 200 a piece on each of those college games. I figure a bad day would be a small loss, but a good day might be a real bonanza. Obvioulsy, i wish now I had bet them up to at least 300-500 range. I really liked TOLEDO also, so that was the only game I hit for a large amount.

The point is -- it's a TEAM effort at MJS, or ou can choose to play your picks on your own. My comments are simply an acknowledgement that there are some great people here and they should be commended for those efforts. I thought it would be a bit rude not to give Hellah and his man some credit after blistering the board and going 15-4 over the past two days -- especialy on some games that many would consider a crapshoot.

SIDE NOTE: Notice that on just about every play, the line was not even close? THAT's handicapping, my freind.
