this isnt a story that ends bad....in fact, it never has ended...he`s been winning for as long as I have known him...which is abouttt 9 years now

he`s 18-6 with these plays...im gonna keep riding him. He told me today at the Gund that tomorrow is the best time to bet the NBA cuz everybody is gonna be so worried about the conference tournys.

I meant no harm to you or Hellah. I'm all for coat-tailing based on analysis or reputation. But this isn't the same thing. I'll get out of everyone's way and hope everyone keeps winning.

Hellah has been on this board for 2 1/2 years and has over 7500 posts. We all agree that he certainly knows his stuff in the MAC.

He comes in here one day and talks about his friend who is the best handicapper he has ever known. He is then able to receive and share with us the picks from this capper.

I for one believe Hellah to be a bright guy who has, to my knowledge never bullsh*tted this board in any way shape or form.
Therefore I also chose to follow the picks, which I guess means I "trusted" Hellah's opinion of his friend.

I don't see where those of us are so wrong as to have followed these picks.

Thanks again for sharing Hellah, many of us appreciate your efforts.

Last November.....

Last November.....

I was in Las Vegas for 4 days and always watching the posts at Madjacks I saw a game that Hellah posted (which stuck out to me) and he said that he loved it in NCAAF. It was in the MAC division and I knew how good Hellah was at these games because of his winning record. The line was Toledo +3 and Hellah did a nice little write up on why he thought Toledo would win outright. Damn, I can't remember who it was against??? However I laid $110 to win $100 and it hit for me. My only bet that weekend at the sportsbook. All I have to say is thanks Hellah for the insight and great handicapping you bring to this board.

seriously, man. You just posted yesterday or the day before that this 'friend' doesn't give you plays until after they go off. Now he's sharing 20 plays a night with you?

I know that i'm fighting a losing battle with you guys, but it makes no sense, except maybe Millenium not giving perks to a recreational player as that seems about right.

There are definitely some desperate people here if you are blindly playing games based on this crap.

And just so nobody misunderstands, i'm not talking about hellah himself and i'm not sure how it turned into a referendum on whether he knows the MAC. I'm talking about people actually risking money based on hellah's 'friend' and the story presented.

I should take my own advice that I made to Bobby and concede that it's futile to even have this conversation.

Hopefully y'all go 23-0 tonight.

Exactly right, Nick. And that's usually the policy I adhere to in these types of threads. I learned a long time ago here that fighting this stuff is a losing battle. Eventually everybody figures it out on their own.
