I know AR, but he mentioned his urge to kill and Wayne came to mind.

AR, I know that you think Romney can win, but do you like him? Would you gladly vote for him?

I am really undecided. I do like Edwards, I know slick attorney who is honestly not qualified. I was a Bill fan, but not so much a Hillary fan. OBama has the charisma and intelligence (as does Romney), but not sure he is the right choice. It is a quandry. I just want someone who is honest, intelligent, fiscally responsible, and someone who will restore our integrity and place in the world community. Someone who cares more about America than the interests of multi-national corporations. Is that too much to ask? I guess so.

But in the end, anybody is better than Bush.

you're right you can't have that....until somebody gets rid of the special interest groups...unfortunately they are on both sides...

no doubt AR, K street rules both sides. Maybe a Bloomberg and Edwards third party run? Throw Rudy, Romney, Paul, and Powell some cabinet and secretary positions and lets get it on.

a smart politican will stay as far away from edwards as possible...so i doubt he will be anybody's running mate...

imo,a good 3rd party candidate is powell...but i read that his wife is strongly against any political career for him...

The more I think about it, I think we need a triumvirate. Our whole system is based on a checks and balances system of the executive, legislative, and judicial. Maybe the Romans were on to something?

Now jabbers I think we'd get along fine--I like Smurph--Would like to introduce to golf group I play with twice a month(I'm the minority) and have him try to convince them I'm a racist :)

as far as pres candidates--I have one iron clad rule--I refuse to vote for candidate of any party who is proffesional politicion--ie Spends tons of money for education/grooming- to take modest paying job--it leaves little question to their motives of cashing those political vouchers down the road.

Edwards touted as Obama pick for attorney general

January 26, 2008

BY ROBERT NOVAK novakevans@aol.com

WASHINGTON, D.C. ? Illinois Democrats close to Sen. Barack Obama are quietly passing the word that John Edwards would be named attorney general in an Obama administration.

Installation at the Justice Department of multimillionaire trial lawyer Edwards would please not only the union leaders supporting him for president, but organized labor in general. The unions relish the prospect of an unequivocal labor partisan as the nation?s top legal officer.

In public debates, Obama and Edwards often seem to bond together in alliance against front-running Sen. Hillary Clinton. While running a poor third, Edwards could collect a substantial bag of delegates under the Democratic Party?s proportional representation. Edwards then could try to turn his delegates over to Obama in the still-unlikely event of a deadlocked Democratic National Convention.
