It's hard to figure why the line on the Diamondbacks
is so low tonight. They've got Doug Davis on the hill,
and he's been sensational thus far (2.25 ERA in six
starts), taking on a Philadelphia team that is only
3-8 (-$490) vs. lefthanders in 2007. Freddy Garcia
has been awful (6.06 ERA in four starts) and looks
like a prime candidate to get traded if the Phillies
don't climb into contention. Arizona had a hard
time with the Mets, but they remain a winning
club, and they have been resting at home while
the Phillies had to take a late flight here from SF
after playing on Sunday Night Baseball. It's hard
to resist the home team at pick 'em in this one.
