Somebody's gotta post something around here, so it might as well be me.

Small loss on the Preakness AND coming out the weekend with a little bigger than small loss at my home turf too. :(
Actually, not bad at all cause my Preakness exotics were for a stinkin buck and didn't go for much on the straight plays either. Now that the LUCKY week days are here. .. the plan is to get it back and then some.

Monday at "beautiful" (Hah hah) Philly....

4th race:
2,6 top/bot w. 5,8. Zacks. Add side order of no. 1 to WIN. Not gonna get burnt again (you know what I mean, Hamster) also ex. box -> 2-6.

5th race:
Gonna lay down the bucks in this race. NOT a lot on one horse, just a lot of combos . Let's just make the ones I'll be focusing on are the 1,2, and 5 BUT the combos (with these) that involve no. 8 will be for more moola. Sorry bout the confusion; if anybody is interested I should be able to get back here and report what happened in case somebody's is curious.

7th race:
I'm playing no. 2 t/b with just about all others in this race. Side order for this wace is no. 9. Side order is a bit of an angle play that looks terrible on paper. Got claimed from Patricia Farro (I wrote a little about her around here someplace) and Allard took it (IT is an IT too, po thang) to Penn and stunk up the track there in a $5K claimer. She bought this hoss back and may be making a statement today with IT. She OWNS and trains this hoss. Also, I liked the way this one looked in the paddock in several of it's recent races at Philly. This one can close better than most of the others in this race as well... just maybe not be able to run as fast as them MOST OF THE TIME :(

10th race:
Ah... a little like the 5th.
Playing trifectas... the 1 and 5 are on top of all the tickets.

Wrap up.. smack down?

Wrap up.. smack down?

Thanks for stopping in MJers.

Triple Crown, stocks (where's the Preparation H for those), and even my good ole Philly dirt bombs have been deserting me.

REALY, getting beat up since the beginning of this week (Sat.) all over the dang place

ANYbody got a first aid kit?... . .

I can understand being sooo wrong about the Triple Crowners cause I don't follow them like I used to. I used to do good coming out after the Belmont is over but I am sooo wrong about this 3 yr. old crap.. er, CROP.. that i don't have much confidence with the Belmont even though one of my LIFETIME biggest wieners was in that race. I sure hope that I ain't starting another losing streak cause the last one was pretty long and it took one/two of them Philly bonanzas to just about all git all of it back. Luckily, i have pretty much (laid down some heavy greenbacks in a couple of Philly waces though) keeping the bets small... but it DOES add up.

Triple Crown
DON'T follow my words of wisdom, but I gotta mention that "Have Another" has been getting dream trips so far in both big races. Absolutely, DREAM TRIPS. I gotta admit that he is some kinda closer.. but come on.. what ever happened to bumping, weaving, getting blocked, etc. in those big field and BIG money events.

What comes to mind is a young gun named Franklin years ago. Don't remember the horse (Spectacula Bid?... no?). He came into N.Y. with the BIG HOSS for the Belmont. Boy, did he ever have some choice words for the N.Y. Puerto Rican dudes/jockeys after that race. You know (hmm.. maybe not?) - the Corderos, Velasquez's, & Co. Him didn't call them Puerto Ricans either. ;)

Don't know if I should post anything tomorrow, don't want to lose other folks moola, ESP. the non-Peepers.

Maybe I'll try just posting a best bet of the day thingy? Or Long Shot for the day. Maybe tailing one of you guys for the Belmont?

Oh, today at Philly? Well, did cash tickets just like Sat. and Sun. but AGAIN, just like Sat/Sun ->not enough of them. SOMB.
