Somebody's gotta post something around here, so it might as well be me.
Small loss on the Preakness AND coming out the weekend with a little bigger than small loss at my home turf too.
Actually, not bad at all cause my Preakness exotics were for a stinkin buck and didn't go for much on the straight plays either. Now that the LUCKY week days are here. .. the plan is to get it back and then some.
Monday at "beautiful" (Hah hah) Philly....
4th race:
2,6 top/bot w. 5,8. Zacks. Add side order of no. 1 to WIN. Not gonna get burnt again (you know what I mean, Hamster) also ex. box -> 2-6.
5th race:
Gonna lay down the bucks in this race. NOT a lot on one horse, just a lot of combos . Let's just make the ones I'll be focusing on are the 1,2, and 5 BUT the combos (with these) that involve no. 8 will be for more moola. Sorry bout the confusion; if anybody is interested I should be able to get back here and report what happened in case somebody's is curious.
7th race:
I'm playing no. 2 t/b with just about all others in this race. Side order for this wace is no. 9. Side order is a bit of an angle play that looks terrible on paper. Got claimed from Patricia Farro (I wrote a little about her around here someplace) and Allard took it (IT is an IT too, po thang) to Penn and stunk up the track there in a $5K claimer. She bought this hoss back and may be making a statement today with IT. She OWNS and trains this hoss. Also, I liked the way this one looked in the paddock in several of it's recent races at Philly. This one can close better than most of the others in this race as well... just maybe not be able to run as fast as them MOST OF THE TIME
10th race:
Ah... a little like the 5th.
Playing trifectas... the 1 and 5 are on top of all the tickets.
