Vegas baby!
ya gotta love it...

so you thought his comments were out of line during the oscars?
apparantly you are mistaken. check out the UPI news wire today regarding his future project.

he is working out a deal with Mel Gibson's production company, Icon Productions to finance "Fahrenheit 911". it explores the first bush presidents relationship with the Bin Laden family. the bush family didnt break their ties with the Bin Laden family until about 2 months after 9/11....hmmm doesnt come as big surprise to me.

you can hardly blame Gibson for wanting to take on this project. "Bowling For Columbine" has made $40 million worldwide and its pre-release video sales are running ahead of "chicago" this week. also, his book is returning to the top of the best-sellers list.

this tells me that, despite all of you war-hawks, an enormous amount of people support Mike and his political views.

i myself am thankful for Michael and those who dare to speak out against the establishment. as he stated in the UPI release: "People are now realizing you can question your government while still caring about the soldiers".

Are you kidding me????? He should be thrown out of this country and never let back in. It's one thing to not agree with the President......but to bash the president on a world televised broadcast???????

He won't get a dime of my money!!!

I am surpprised Mel Gibson. He is more to the center or even a lean to the right. You will not see him protesting. But a chance to make that dam allmight dollar can change things. I mean Mel is not going to go all out liberal. But he is a smart bussness man.

I really wish people would stop referring to Moores work as documentaries.. They are not. They are cleverly edited propaganda pieces. Using time shifting... Mis quotes. portions of sentences pieced together from different dates labeled as quotes etc. see for yourself

Go into Detroit and ask them how popular Moore is there.

depends who you ask....

ask the Union Workers - then yes, they love him...

ask the snobs in farmington hills, they`ll lynchmob him

Heyas, its been awhile since i last posted. But i have to put my two cents in, lets STOP talking about this imbicile, hes getting what he exactly wants, and thats free publicity. I, for one, will never rent one of his movies, and alot of others for that matter.
If we just use our good judgement, he will flounder away, as a wise man once said "live by the sword, die by the sword"
(hopes the dixie chunks are reading this)

nope, sorry, youre wrong...

nope, sorry, youre wrong...

not only are they documentaries, they are critically acclamied documentaries!

anyone can claim, after the fact, that they didnt say this or didnt do that. why am i to believe the folks that were exposed by Moore as the frauds they are? denial is not just a river in egypt!

and finally, Moore is NOT going away...he is leader in his field.

flounder away????
would you flounder away if your books were spending several weeks at the top of the bestseller lists, and your movies were making $40 million at the box-office???? lol i dont think so.

as long as there are people like Charlton Heston, Dubya Bush, and Pat Buchanon in this world, Mike will have plenty of work.

But if Rush says they are not documentaries how can they be? Not that they mean anything to me but the guy wins top prizes all over the world for documentaries and now all of a sudden his movies are not documentaries? How can that be?

Moore is in the spotlight now. He'll do anything for more fame, for more money.

His agenda's no different than pro-wrestling. It may entertaining, but in reality it's fake.

He can make a "documentary" on anything. He's a good film maker because he knows how to manipulate the truth.

I maintain the belief that he was the fat kid who got abused in elementary school, and suffered from a lack of positive recognition.

Here we go again with the twisted logic that is so truly indicative of Michael Moore fans and their ilk. Moore is a hero because his movies win awards, a segment of the population (certainly not the majority) find him entertaining, and he sells alot of books. I don't disagree with any of that. On the other hand, we have people like the much-maligned (by the Moore crowd) Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh wins awards, has a segment of the population that finds him entertaining, and he sells alot of books. Yet he is the village idiot! Similar complaints by the Moore crowd toward Bill O'Reilly. Hmmm...does O"Reilly appeal to a segment of society? Does he sell alot of books? Yet he is the other village idiot? Let me go on record by saying that I can separate the fantasy from the fact when it comes to people like Limbaugh and O"reilly. Despite their denials, it is obvious that they have an agenda and it leans to the right. We know that going in and can take things for what they are worth. But Moore lovers refuse to admit that he also has an agenda. Of course, I guess it is just easier to listen with your ears open and your brain closed. And Flash, just for the record, Pat Buchanan has gone on record opposing the war. That puts him in the same court as Moore. Of course, you never let facts get in the way of your opinions.

i was just making sure that he wasn't refering to the same body of people who seem to nominate jack nicholson("well listen here missy") and tommy lee jones("look, these are my men. they only answer to me") for playing the same characters every year. just curious

and i'm not trying to be sarcastic either. i really wanted to know what prestigious awards he has won.
