DTB likes to always remind us that DC is da base and that 99% of the population in DC voted for Obama.

Check out the educational attainment by state.

DC is clearly the leader with nearly half having bachelors degrees and 27% having advanced degrees or more.

Check stats of DC vs Kentucky while you're there.

I am sure your post is mostly in jest towards DTB, but D.C. has far more educational institutions per capita than any state. Add in that the numbers arent based on D.C. residency and the numbers arent very suprising. I am thinking you already knew that though ;) .

Are you serious Jack--or just trying to drum up some activity. :)

DC has 2 distinct areas --the politicians and their kids and the maryland side.

DC is DC and Maryland is Maryland

Wasn't Maryland a separate entry in the census stats?

The politicians and their kids primarily are in Montgomery County Maryland and Northern Virginia. :popcorn2

And I am just messin' around too :0008

It is what it is :0003

If you travel to DC they will tell you which boundries not to cross for saftey.

You have one area prep schools with high graduation rates--then you other area who who can't wait until politician jailed for crack and prostitution gets out of jail so they can vote him back in-which they did.

on graduation--I'm guessing considering demographics of 2 distinct areas of there--college graduation would be higher than high school graduation or not far from it.

I am not taking sides in the bigger issues between you all or for that matter the high school #'s, but as I stated before, the college degrees and advanced degrees seems easy to figure out.

Per the census: Numbers include those housed in institutions such as educational institutions(dorms).

Below is a list of colleges and universities within D.C. which has a population of 600000-700000.

Argosy University
Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts
Potomac College
Strayer University Multiple Campuses
University of Phoenix
American University
Catholic University of America
Corcoran College of Art
Dominican House of Studies
Gallaudet University
George Washington University
Georgetown University
Howard University
Institute of World Politics
National Defense Intelligence College
National Defense University
Potomac College
Southeastern University
Trinity Washington University
University of the District of Columbia
Washington Theological Union
Wesley Theological Seminary
