Wow! Great Flick!

Definitely one you should like.

I don't like war movies, I don't care for Brad Pitt either but, dayum, this movie was great, IMO.

Pitt does a great job with his part and the german Col (I don't know who he is) is excellant too.

The story will keep you on the edge of your seat and can definitely be a very graphic at times so just turn your head if you're a puss like me.

SEE IT!

That actor was an unknown for the most part before this movie. He was most famous for some TV role in Germany. I think it was a soap opera.

Now he will be up for an Oscar and will be odds-on fave to win.

He is riveting in the movie's opening scene. If that was the entire movie I would have been happy. he's that good.

Public Enemy? Long drawn out Dillinger flick. You've seen one you've seen them all. Depp is a weird guy but I suppose this is one of his films that I can watch, just the same old crap of a Dillinger movie.

saw inglorious bastards when it first came out & didn't think it was anything special....

also saw dillinger & although i like depp as an actor i didn't find him believable as dillinger....not masculine enough....

thought law abiding citizen was an okay flick....

waiting for hangover to come to cable to see it....

saw bliond side a few weeks ago & really liked it....& i think sandra bullock is getting sexier as she ages....

I liked this movie, Jack. I don't like war movies either...but this one had my attention...and made me laugh. Sam and I had gone to see it while it was still in the theatres. She hated it and was falling asleep through the 2nd half of the movie. Needless to say....I still get grief for it everytime she sees a commercial for the DVD.....since going to that movie was "my choice." I havent been allowed to choose since :sadwave:

they don`t make serious movies anymore,do they?...like "seven"....without all the ridiculous,unreaklistic crap ruining it...

just watched "taken" with liam neeson on cable...it was good...he was indestructable in the film,but,that`s how they make em these days.....

this looks like a campy comedy to me...from the pitt accent..to the "nein,nein,nein" from hitler....to the title...to pitt`s name(aldo ray?...he was a borderline star in the 50`s who was in mostly army movies).....supposed to be a joke?...probably...

a comic book on film...doesn`t mean it`s not entertaining for some folks.....just prefer stuff like appocalypse,platoon and full metal jacket...

and as ar said,muchchkins with "homo staches"(lawtchan..lol) like depp and pitt playing characters that used to be played by lee marvin and james caan just doesn`t pass the credulity test....at least for me...that`s why i`ve never been able to sit through matt damon,leo di caprio(who can actually act) and lispy marky mark in "departed"...but,that`s me...:shrug:
