A few months ago I posted a thread asking opinions on a few place to move. Well the time has come and as of right now I am tentatively planning on moving to Orlando. Vegas has treated me well, and I've learned a lot here. But its time to settle down and find myself a good woman to spend my time with. I've lasted longer than most here in Vegas (9 years). I've had many friends come and go since I've been here. Most of them are gone now. I like the whole tourist thing as I am a restaurant bartender and work all on tips. I don't think I will have a hard time finding a job in Orlando, but if some of you disagree let me know. If anyone could give me any tips and or info please do. Anyone in Orlando that want to help in that way, when I get there I will treat you to a night at a bar when I get there

Vegas is a place to visit not live.
My brother lived there and I went a lot to visit him back then.
Orlando is a good place. Been there many times. I really like Panama City a lot. Have family in Tampa

Moved here 21 years ago and have never a day looked back. Originally from Pittsburgh, but lived a lot of different places after college as I had worked in radio and moved around quite a bit. Out of all the places that I lived, this is the place that I feel safest in. Not saying it's as safe as Casper Wyoming, but there sure is a lot more to do here. Do be careful as to what part of town and what county you move to since you have a child. The schools in some areas can be pretty suspect. I have to head out to the office, but if you need more info ask Jack for my email.
If I was moving to Orlando, I wouldn't even consider making a move until I talked to you. I was going to send you the link to this thread, glad you saw it. :toast:
And I have a niece and uncle who live there. Too fucking hot for me.
I think of water, beaches, fishing when I think of Florida. Living in the middle of the state defeats the purpose of Florida, in my opinion.
Living in Orlando it's a hour drive to each side of the state to the beach. Not shabby if you ask me. What part of Orlando are you looking to move to?
