So when your grandson is sick, instead of taking the little guy to the doctor, your son is going to stick acupuncture needles into him? What the fuck is going on here?

it's sad

nutbags like jenny mccarthy say their kids got autism from a vaccination and people follow along

for every fringe website talking about the dangers of vaccinations, the decrease and near eradication in the U.S. of so many diseases is proof enough that vaccinations work

poor kids being subjected to possible breathing problems, diarrhea, meningitis, and a whole host of other diseases just b/c parents decide they know better then what the last 100 years of medicine have shown

This is my opinion.

Anyone who does not inoculate their children or deprive them from proper medical attention should have a thorough psychological evaluation. I'm not saying they should be forced to inoculate, but I think they should be deemed of sound mind. Many people who I have come across that have these views are bipolar, schizo, or a little off their rocker. Seriously anyone know or met any people who do not inoculate their children? Aren't they a little bit off their rocker in many aspects of life?

Many of the diseases that inoculations are used for have disappeared, but let's say they banned inoculations and did away with them, those diseases would be back and there would be wide spread panic to produce the vaccines again.

People die from pneumonia all the time, this isn't new news...........Google it.......60,000 each year[/QUOTE]

Many people do die from pneumonia every year, mainly children under 5 and surprisingly most of those deaths could of been prevented from you guessed it PNEUMONIA VACCINATION.

Most other deaths occur in the already compromised elderly and people with debilitation injury or disease. IE: Aids or spinal cord injury for example. I think the point Joker was making is that people who are normally healthy do not die from pneumonia if they seek treatment properly. Jim Hensen did die from pneumonia but STUPIDITY should also be on the toe tag. :0074

Yes the family I know is definitely different. They don't have cell phones because they cause cancer if you hold them up to your ear. They drive very old cars because the newer cars have too much technology and big brother may be watching. On top of the vegan lifestyle they also don't let their daughter wear certain clothing because of the material it's made of or play with certain toys- most of her toys are hand made of wood, no paint, no plastic, because plastic is "toxic". I think these kids then grow up thinking this is the only way to raise your kids and they follow suit. Kids need to be around other kids- they need to get colds and be around germs. It's the way their immune systems build up. I understand not all vaccines are 100% but at least its a head start on keeping these diseases from getting out of hand. I don't like needles but I would rather have the flu than get a flu shot because we all know that even if you get the flu shot sometimes the "live virus" they put inside you still gives you the flu. But my kids get a flu shot because their step mom thinks they should have one even though their dad thinks it's a waste of time. "Optional" shots like that are different than the shots you get as a child to help prevent disease. I had a chicken pox shot when I was a kid and I still got the chicken pox. I had shingles last year but never got the shingles shot even though it was recommended.

I've also had to have surgery (Heller Myotomy with a Partial Fundiplication) for Achalasia and the Dr's at both hospitals have no clue why it happened to me. I'm like a one in a million case. Not that getting shots had anything to do with that- so nothing is preventable but you can certainly take the steps to try to prevent certain things or at least keep them in a controllable manner.

I agree...........I started the thread about my grandson being a vegan.

It's not unusual not to immunize, do the research and you'll see.

I don't need to do research, I already know this. These people get mocked by medical professionals.

Not to vaccinate is the "in thing" to do. In this era people can get away with it cause the diseases are not around. Many of us would not be here if our parents/grandparents refused to inoculate their children. Why do you think they came with the vaccines? How many lives do you think they saved? It should of been a crime not to inoculate when they first came available

Q: What about the combined destructive power of a number of vaccines given to babies these days?

A: It is a travesty and a crime. There are no real studies of any depth which have been done on that. Again, the assumption is made that vaccines are safe, and therefore any number of vaccines given together are safe as well. But the truth is, vaccines are not safe. Therefore the potential damage increases when you give many of them in a short time period.
