If I had NO ACTION on this game, and wanted 2h action, I would bet Pacers 2h +4. Thats why I am taking the 2.5k loss. I gave Celts 1h to win me my 5k and I don't feel confident. By doing that, I cost myself BIG $$$ in not taking Pacer ML for game. But I rolled the dice and guess I am thankful Indiana didn't have a 5-6pt lead. Then I be stuck with Boston.
So pissed at Celtics. I should have won 5k on this series. Not gonna sweat it out now for 2h. I got another huge bet up my sleeve that I am going to POUND! Don't want to risk losing 10k tonight before pounding this other bet I might make.
Gonna still root for Boston and close game so I know I handicapped this series righ! :mj07: But right now I am sad for losing 2.5k! I think this was the smart thing to do vs leaving my bet.

I wouldn't be sad -- frankly at the end of the night it looks like you'll have $7,500 more in your pocket than you would have if you stuck to your guns.
We all take beats in games we really liked, I think it's great you had to foresight to bail yourself out of what was ultimately a bad play. I'm sure you'll have another heavy future soon, and based on your track record it will hit.

smarrt move, scott, greed kills just like speed ... i had taken celts ml to dallas, but then took pacers ML +170 at half ... when the games crawled in boston the Pacers shone ... amazing celts dumped 3 games at home

I've actually only lost $500 if you just calculate my last 2 NBA bets. I won 2k on Nets ML over Celtics last game of year and I lost 2.5k on this series bet. Not too shabby when I could have been up $7,500 on my last 2 NBA bets if Celtics took care of business like I thought they would.

I am not going to give you my account ID and password to prove it. But I can prove that I am blacklisted in the costa Rican books. That should tell you something AND Madjack can vouch for that. I put my $$$ amounts because it lets people know its a BIG bet for me. I tell posters that its a big bet for me. I hide nothing. All I care about is me winning and hopefully others win too. with this Celtic squad. They should have won this series even it went to game 7 at their place. I wonder how many teams in the NBA playoff history lost series with home court advantage, win game 1 in super fashion then lose 3 straight home games. I bet ZERO! Thats what I got with this Celtic squad.
I still loved this bet and all my reasonings behind it. There were 3 things I did not handicap well. #1 Celtics STUPIDITY! #2, Celtics lack of offense in half court. #3 Coaching mismatch= adv. Pacers. I completely overlooked all 3 aspects AND it cost me. If I did not overlook them, I prob. would have bet 2k to win 1k on Celts instead of 10k to win 5k.
I did get some bad breaks. For example Pacers getting healthier as series went on. J. Oneal was playing injured games 1 and 2, but games 3-7 he looked like a healthy J. Oneal. Bad break for me. Tinsley coming back for games 5-7 sucked. But IMO this series never should have gone 6 games. Of course my biggest bad break was Celtics blowing game 2. That was MAJOR blow. When you bet a team to win series, anytime they blow a game like that it hurts BADLY! Lucky for me Celts still had chance to win series despite that. But of course Celts lost games 5 and 7 at home. What a bunch of losers.
Congrats to the Pacers. They play with heart and are well coached. Play smart basketball.
Lastly, I apologize for posting this LOSER! Can't expect to win them all but I expected to win my biggest NBA bet ever and that was why I posted it. 10k was extremely large wager for me and I was really confident in it. Unfortunately the outcome was not what I envisioned. I hope anybody who jumped on board bought there bet back sometime in this series. Lots of opportunities. I pressed it all the way to game 7 but I had to buy it back after 1h in tonights game. Enough was enough and looks like I did one thing right in this series. Saved me 7.5k
You can bet I am gonna put some or all of that 7.5k in action. That is free money! :mj07:
