I had a brief meeting with the attorney yesterday. She said her client/keyer of car will have the check for $7600 to her on Monday July, 26th. I agreed and said that then is the deadline. If the check is not handed over to me on the following day at the latest I will notify the Police and AAA, my auto insurance carrier....................that's the latest update.............. :box2:

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you Boys. I've been very busy the last few days. Real life stuff takes precendence over this. And I also wanted to give myself some time to think about this.
Basically, I've come to the conclusion this is just not worth arguing over. I mean I laid there in bed the other night and thought WTF am I doing arguing on the internet whether some guy's car got keyed. This is really stupid. I should have just backed off when the bet came up but instead got hooked into this and I regret it. So truthful or not, if you want I will cut you a cheque just to end this ordeal. Or I can donate the money to the charity of your choice. Your call.
I really am not a negative person, and all this negativity really got me down, so I am willing to say I was wrong and be done with it. I just don't need this.
And I thank you for the invite to Detroit. Unfortunately there is just no way I can get down there in the near future. I'm up to my eyeballs in two major projects right now: starting my business, and planning my wedding in September.
Get my email from Jack and we can work this out. And if you're in the Toronto area I'll take you out to a strip club or two here and treat you. My apologies for the way I handled this and the accusations I made.
