My dog is in surgery right now..

Thanks guys. She had a bulging disk in her vertebrae.. but the surgery was a success.. She will be in rehab for 3 weeks, but that's better than the alternative.

my wife and I had to put our 9 year old cocker spaniel to sleep about 6 months ago and it still hurts, good luck, I wish you and your dog the best of luck

All the best. With my current situation losing my wife to cancer, my dogs are my everything. I have 2 pure bred German Shepherds and would take a bullet for them.

Well, she was in surgery for a while, before i started the thread.. then I got the call that she is out.

Thanks for the well wishes, looking forward to seeing her in the morning, even if i cant take her home for another week.

damn,j.r....i had forgotten what you`d gone through this year...

this time of year has to be hell on earth for you...

all the best to you...i know those pups are so important to you...

i wish i could remember that old saying...not sure if it was scripture or just a quote from somebody...i think my memory`s going on me...

it went something like,"those that we have saved become OUR saviors".... and those dogs,i`m sure have helped you keep some modicum of sanity...

i don`t mean to get mushy,but that is so f-cking true...
