Fulmer being fired rocked him pretty hard. Now a Dem being in office is just icing.

This added to his retirement that he's been building for 40 years has been shell shocked right before he was planning retirement and his industry going down the shitter.

Adding to whatever mid-life crisis was probably creeping in already.
