There is nothing better than an outing with fellow MJ members. NOTHING! That's just the way it is. You're missing out if you don't try it once.

I'm usually a quiet guy, in real life. I try to be extra social at these outings and sometimes overdo it.

"Sometimes" :lol:

That being said ;)
There are some blanks on the memory card.

Full recovery was not achieved until I woke up this morning at 330am. Finally!

I did makes 3 sales yesterday! Three! :D

Anyway....

Some thoughts about the trip.

The ride home. HOLY SHIT!

I really appreciate that whatshisnuts took over as primary driver of my rental and drove 90% of the way home, I couldn't have done it. Thanks bud.

We did have a decent ride down, spent the night about halfway and drank a few brews at the room before hitting the sack for 2.5 hours prior to the final drive there. 2.5 hours.

On the way we picked FDC up at the airport. WAIT! That's right, his flight was delayed, or they bumped him, or some shit, and he wanted us to make the tee times for about 5 hours later and still pick him up at the airport. Yeah right.

Joker: thanks for everything. You totally take charge, make all arrangements, set all the times, make sure everybody knows what they are supposed to do and when they are supposed to do it. You are THEE MAN! Everybody appreciates what you do.

When I got to the hotel there was no line at check-in and I immediately went to the room and fell asleep right away. I think someone woke me up and said they were ready to play golf, there was about 5 missed calls and numerous missed texts, but I made it on time as a few were waiting in the lobby for me.

We get there and guess what? The fucking rolling bar was already in action. Amazing! :0074

You gotta love Brent (RollTide). You gotta! The guy has never missed an outing, he brings a fully stocked bar in the back of his truck and I mean FULLY stocked. You can even have lunch with all the pickles, olives, limes and spices. It is impressive. Thanks again Brent, you the man.

I had a nice round but didn't play well and cost myself and teammate Nolly money once again. Played with whatshisnuts and Bart and rode with Nole. I don't think I had one good shot all day but the company was good. It's a good group and I think our 4th year playing together to kick off the outing. I hope we keep the tradition going for many more years. Bart got us started on the LIIT's at the turn and the rest was history. Thanks Bart. :0074

I'm going to have to continue this later tonight as I have to get on the road for work in 10 minutes.

I have a lot more to say.

The definition of an LIT at the golf outing......

16 oz styrofoam cup filled halfway with ice.......add in vodka, tequila, gin, triple sec, rum......then if there is any room left in the cup (usually only enough room for 1 more oz of liquid) add a splash of sour and a splash of coke.

Those were the strongest (and best) LITs that I've ever ordered from an establishment. Either those clubhouse girls didnt know what they were doing or they just didnt give a shit. Either way......I know who to order drinks from next time.

Great times! And having two of those LITs improved my golf game by 6 shots on the back nine :mj07:

I can't drink during the day otherwise I am done early in the evening but I do both at these outings. This one was no different.

I do remember the kosar dinner and playing blackjack.

I started with raw oysters and a double Stoli on the rocks. I had the 8 ounce filet (delicious) and a baked potato I barely touched.

I mainly sat back talking to Brent but must have gone around the table clicking pics but the pics are all blurred. Hardly any worth posting but I'll dig thru them again to see.

I did post a shot of the lamb that sixfive was eating. :sadwave:

Lost at blackjack and it's no wonder with Joker STAYING with 13 vs a dealer QUEEN.
The next day Skipper told me I gave him hell but I don't mean that shit if I offended Joker. People can play any way they want, I could give a rats ass.

They all thought I won and were surprised when I told them I went broke. I guess THEY don't remember.

It all started (the losing) when I had to dig in the pocket for $200 to double my 11 vs the dealer 5. Doesn't that always happen? I lost, of course.

My golf team the next day was Betone, Lanny and I rode with Skipper.

Skipper: Breaks a club, force feeds me shots, broke the GPS range finder in the cart, poured a LIT down my back and constantly tried to throw me from the cart. That never happened though, I wasn't drunk enough yet. We split 8 beers on the front with a few shots of some whiskey and at the turn Skipper bought a 12 pack while I got us all LIT's. He STILL didn't throw me from the cart.

We played decently, shooting -1 on the front and -4 on the back with no bogies. The 4 of us had a really good time and enjoyed the partnership. Lotta good shots from everybody in the 4-some. And good times for sure.

Back later with more comments. Dinner time.

Besides that, I have to wait for them to order more pineapple.

I did have one of those double chocolate cupcakes with the sprinkles on Sunday though. I won a few bucks playing blackjack and they comped my buffet, imagine that, so I pounded the shit out of it. Crab legs were at a premium until the Chinaman and his family sat down and filled up a drink tray with the damn things. They didn't leave anything behind but the pinky legs that were already broken off. Then they ate like Godzilla was coming. Holy crap, those little fuckers could eat............the kids were little I mean, not the orientals.

Hope this helps,
FDC

How did my staying on 13 vs. Q make YOU lose at Blackjack?

It may have cost me that hand but it doesn't matter. I was basically apologizing to you if I gave you shit like Skipper said I did.

You're supposed to take a card in that situation. :0008

You took a random card and gave the dealer another random card. By doing so, sometimes you change the outcome of the game in a negative way and give the gamblers at the table a person to blame so they don't have to blame themselves.

You're the same guy who won't keep his hands out of the way at a crap table, huh?
