Do you guys think you could have fun if you didn't get plowed?

On the course!
Show up and find out

Drunks are the reason I stopped going.

I'm all for people having a great time, I'm asking if you could have a fun golf outing without getting wasted?

I get the feeling you could, but no one wants to be the "pussy" in the crowd. Just seems like there are quite a few, "Holy shit....what did I do to myself last night" moments, after-the-fact.

Someone mentioned less people show up every year. You guys might want to look into that. Or fuck it.

This is neither the time nor the place to make sense of things.

No one, or at least I, gives a damn whether you drink or not - in fact I don't even think that comes up except with Jack. Get off Pegasus and come down and have a good time

Christ get off your high horse. So you chose to stop going because the drinking was more than you cared for, nothing wrong with that. But to paint with such a broad brush is a bit ridiculous. Kids are the reason BBC and I haven?t gone recently. Other people have mentioned family obligations. Others have mentioned that they simply couldn?t afford to make the trip.

No one wants to be the ?pussy?. You are probably right, I look at all the guys that attended and think several just succumbed to peer pressure and went along with it because it seemed like the cool thing to do. Glad you can put them in their place with a pot shot from afar after the fact.
