I might have pneumonia, but I can guarantee it isn't Aids related like Jimbo. :0008

Nurse a the worst patients; fact.

Did u like that email?

I was in SC when I got it. Just got home. I'll look at it tomorrow. Going to play Xbox and go to bed. I might find myself out getting something to eat soon. If I do, I'll look at them in the White Castle drive through.

If you do have the flu, you should get some meds asap because they generally only work if you start them within the first 24 to 48 hours of the onset of the flu...they work to shorten duration to the symtpoms, if you start it any later, the virus will probably run it's full course , though they may still help

Your general achiness and joint pain is pretty classic for the flu, and if you aren't really coughing, it's probably not a pneumonia, ..but your high temp does favor a bacterial infection

the point of my amateur spiel is to get you to a doc and start meds to reduce symtom duration if it is the flu, and start abx if it is a bacterial infection, so you feel better faster..

the flu is awful, just had it a few months ago

What little I have, hurts. You know you're sick when your hair hurts. Weird thing is, I dont know what this is. I have never had the flu, but I think that's where I'm settling.

Fever 101.2 for 36 hours now.

Complete and total body aches. I hurt everywhere. There isn't a joint that doesn't hurt.

My eyes hurt and are stinging and watering.

No sore throat, no runny nose, no urinary symptoms, very mild cough, and what I would call shortness of air (I feel as if I have run a few miles, and I haven't done anything.

I have narrowed it down to flu, upper respiratory infection, and pneumonia.

Does this sound familiar to anybody? :0corn

Thanks. 😷

You think you might have caught something from that hooker in Tunica?

Clint,

Are you having any nausea or diarrhea type symptoms.

There is presently a Cyclospora bacterial infection that has been prevalent in produce in several areas in several states that has been causing some of the symptoms you are talking about.

One thing I don't want to bring up but due to the fever I think you need to at least consider it, is meningitis or mononucleosis. Certainly sounds plausible. At least as plausible as H1N1 or Lyme disease. That is just a high fever and it is an extended one. Have you eaten any produce or a lot of produce lately and how long have you been ill?

..just heard on the news that a virus called cyclospora is spreading across the country...symptoms range from vicious diarrhea to flu-like stuff(aches/ fever).....it tends to linger...

they think it my be linked to produce from overseas...not confirmed...

That is two votes for bacterial infection and puts Weasie and I in the lead.

Hope this helps
