I got 200 from State Farm back in college when I was rear ended to settle :shrug: had to agree not to sue them for being injured, I did have some neck pain but nothing serious

Not sure how they do it where you live but here they put accidents in the paper in the little police blotter and they list your name, address, and a brief summary of the accident, and who was cited. So if they see things like that they have all the info they need to contact whoever they think may want to sue. What's the price of a stamp if they can get a big hunk of moolah.

Totalled and I got a fair price for the car. Thanks to Keyser Soze I was prepared if they tried to screw me but they gave me exactly what Keyser said they should.

We're not getting a lawyer, it just surprises me how many packets and letters we received letting us know what our rights are. These lawyers are really helpful and look out for the folks that don't know the law.
