Thanks guys. The entire game was ugly, but Navy hung in there. Crazy way to cover but I will take it. Had a lot of money on them in way too many teasers so I made the stupid halftime bet, but I will gladly take the cover. Couple NFL games go my way today, it will be a very good weekend.

First bet to start the bowl season is a ML parlay (about +150 payout)

This will likely be a trend for me this bowl season. Play against MAC teams since they are 4-14 the last three seasons. Added benefit for this matchup is that the MAC is 0-5 against the Sun Belt conference over the same timeframe, so the ML looks pretty good to me. It was hard to watch the Pac 10 championship game and think much of that conference. I love listening to WASU whine about the lack of respect they received, but their conference deserves little respect. Fresno will be up for this one.
Still looking at the others. Thinking of adding Utah State and App State to the ML par.

I do not think this one hits 50. I think Middle TN is the more motivated team and I expect a close game.

Man, there was some bad defensive coaching in the Ga Southern game. I have no idea what the Eastern Michigan coach was doing changing his defense on 4th and 10 when Ga Southern can not throw the ball at all. The drop deep and give the QB the space to get the first down. That was a really bad defensive call against a team that had very little chance to complete a pass. I also have no idea why GA Southern was not putting pressure on the E. Michigan QB on 4th down as he was terrible with any near him.
I will take it though, as it gave me some ML parlay wins and I feel good about Middle Tennessee after watch a Georgia Southern team who beat them.

My God, this Middle Tennessee QB is horrible. Doing everything he can to lose this one himself. Wonder if Daddy has the balls to bench him. I doubt it as he has made some bad decisions himself in this one and the other side is totally out coaching him. 6 offsides in one half, maybe they should just run a play rather than looking to the sidelines every play, I really hate that. Didn't do enough homework on this one. They are terrible. Has to make you wonder about UAB.

I thought I posted UAB yesterday afternoon but looks like I screwed it up. I can not do anything from my phone!! You can basically assume that I am against every MAC team, so I got this ML par in this morning:

I already have SD ST +10 to finish off a tease so I will take a shot on the ML with an FIU team on Friday that I think can win. Ohio is the only team in the MAC that I think is decent as they are well coached and can run the ball. Ohio looks like the clear play on paper based on the teams play at the end of the year, yet the line actually moved off of 3. I think the time off serves SD State well as they get some players back and I think they have the defense to slow Ohio's running game. I just hope they are motivated as SD State tends to play to the level of their competition (I read that the dog in their games this year is 11-1 ATS).
A two team tease that also features FIU that I also put in this morning given the numbers:

I have liked FIU since the schedule came out. The line has come down but I really think it should be more like a PK. They are 3-0 ATS as dogs this year. Wake is another dog that I think can win. I will have more on that later, but they are a very live dog in my opinion as I think they are the better team. This may also turn into a ML parlay depending on how tonights game turns out.

When you are wrong, your wrong. SD State sucks and wanted no part of that game. Horrible call by me, nothing to do but move on (I sucked in all sports yesterday!).

Most of my FIU plays were already before the QB news was in, so I will gladly take that victory as I was not very happy about it. They had to know ahead of time that he was not playing (this is for another rant, but NCAA needs to come up with injury reports now that sport gambling is becoming legal everywhere)

Wow, Wake wins a big one for me despite some of the worst coaching I have seen in a while. Needed that one.
I will look for an advantageous in-game play on Army (maybe Houston can score on this first drive) if I can get it as I did not want to add to an already large Army bet until the Wake game was over, but I think Army just wears Houston out.

Fantastic day today and I needed it. Plus the Ravens won and I love seeing Rivers lose and whine like a little baby. It was a good day.
I need BC today to finish off a big Delaware Super Teaser, but I also like them in this game. They have the better defense and should be able to run the ball. I think the wrong team is favored.
I also like Ga Tech today. I just do not believe Minny is that good and Tech will want to win for Johnson.

I am not a Wisky fan, especially not a fan of their QB. I do not like betting on them. HOWEVER, this game is all about motivation to me and sets up as a nice bowl play. There is no doubt in my mind that Miami is a better team especially when you look at their defense against Wisconsin's offense. I simply do not think Miami wants to be in this game. Add in the expected cold and potentially bad weather and I think it only exacerbates their not wanting to be there. Defensive coordinator is gone, and from what I read, the team is a bit of a mess right now. Wisky won't mind the weather and will want to play in NYC. I will gladly take the points with the more motivated team and I also like the money line.

Loved Iowa State at +3 1/2 when it was available, most houses today have +2 1/2 and +2 now. "Thought I saw some +1 1/2's out there!"

Thanks Bill. I got lucky with the line. It dropped to 2.5 about half an hour after I bet it. Still at -2.5 -105, so it still can be bought up just with a little higher juice. I think it is a good spot for them.
I am making Duke a bigger play today. The more I looked into it the more I like it. Duke is 5-0 ATS as a dog this year and 20-8 over the last 5. Cutcliffe is a great bowl coach and Temple is coming in to a bowl once again without their coach, which did not work out well last time.
