i'm thinking you UNDER guys will like this :

i looked at season win totals at one of my books so i could get a sense of public expectations by tracking line movement.

so far 6 times as much money has been placed on the overs - 15 teams have had their over bet for a total of $2.45 worth of juice; only 4 teams have had their under bet for a total of $0.40

and this is with the season a week out - you gotta think this ratio will only increase once the casual bettors find out the season is gonna start.

BOS, CHI, CLE, and UTH are the under teams.

Man, gotta love the value presented by the public. Nice to see you KK.

i know you guys like your dogs (doesn't Ax have 5 of them?), but you should be grabbing the POR -7's while they are still out there

I'm looking at teams like MIN and CLE who I think will be extremely undervalued early because of the departure of their superstars. I think teams like this will be on a mission early on to show that they can hang with anybody even with out their all-stars from last year.

A team I wouldn't put in this category who lost a big star in the offseason would be PHX as I think there are just too many new parts that will need some time to gel. In an uptempo offense like that it is going to take time for some of the new players, especially some of those frontcourt guys, to get their rhythm and timing down with Nash, etc. Also, not even Nash himself has very high expectations for this team this year.

I want to wish everyone in this forum the best of luck this basketball season and I look forward to reading and occasionally contributing to the daily value hunting thread. Best group of NBA cappers on the net.

young team. i wonder how committed the org is to the rebuilding process. Gentry has his hands full. They're going to need a hint of defense just to stay average. BOL

PHO needs a better finisher in that role/roll.

i would be trying to get Ibaka (OKC) - Nash would make him a star

Ax - how do you feel about the Celts tonight? If Perk was playing, i would already have them

Looking at good value play on the Homers tonight. Last I looked they were getting 1 and added hook in some places. My locals got 'em at -2. Lots of love in town right now. Went offshore and played 'em SU.

Killer, send me an email across the street if you have time.

Ax, am I correct to assume that you're not playing full unit plays yet? Don't you usually take the first 2 weeks to get some data together and then you start playing full unit plays?

Good luck gents

Good luck gents

Best of luck this season fellas, hope it's a great one for all of us. :0074

I really liked the Celts tonight and also the under, and Houston was a possibility as they always play the Lakers close, but as Ax says, my "beer money" game tonight is

Blazers -7 for a half unit.

Revenge for last year in the playoffs and Suns have looked bad in preseason.
