Leans

Leans

Sheets, thanks for posting. Feel free to give your opinion anytime. The more the merrier. I agree with ya on LA, but it's been a LONG road trip and could see them pulling starters early and getting moosed at the end.

My leans so far, no totals yet
Pacers +6
Hawks -4
Wizz-3.5 fishy line
Hornets -4.5
Thunder-1.5 (possible POD)

Back to the lab. :00x32

Billy -- you were right on with that Nets "bottom-out" call Thursday. Was that the wake-up call for everyone to not try to sleepwalk though a game vs Nets? Leaning Wash -3.5

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now andf then. I like the Wizz tonight as well, thinking of a Nets "letdown" if there is such a thing, but hard to tell since theyve only won 4 all year. It could give them a little confidence, and a Friday night at home......I'm sure the Wizz aren't "pumped" for this game. Line seems really fishy.

Without to much capping done and from my Blackberry I am liking

CLE -6 who is gonna guard Lebron? If Bynum (LAL) and Howard (ORL) just used Hibbert what are Shaq and Z gonna do? Hibbert will have to come out on Z which will open up the middle for LB and Hickson and Shaq will just bang him around. Gonna be a long day for the Pacers.

LAL -6.5 everyone is expecting Lakers to shit the bed on this road trip. Well by there standards they have already. I expect them to win and cover the rest of the trip.

CHA -1 Stephen Jackson is gonna want to make sure CHA wins this game. I like the better HEALTHY team only having to cover -1.

SQUARE picks for me but without me looking to much into these games anyone got a good reason not to be on them??

My 2 cents

My 2 cents

Only thing I can think about on the lakers, besides this trip affecting fatigue and Phil resting his starters a alot, is a possible look ahead to Boston next game. I lean Pacers mainly because of some recent trends I will post later.

Cavaliers are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. win.
Pacers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points.
Pacers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss.
Cavaliers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite.
Cavaliers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5.
Pacers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
Pacers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog.

LAL
I dont see the bench blowing a cover with a 20 point lead and that what I expect the Lakers to have in the 3rd when Phil goes to the bench.

CLE has owned INDIANA in recent years. Just a bad match up.

CLE vs IND

team=Cavaliers and o:team=Pacers and 20071030<=date
SU: 8-1 (8.9)
ATS: 7-2-0 (3.8) avg line: -5.1
O/U: 5-3-1 (1.6) avg total: 203.6

CLE @ IND
team=Cavaliers and o:team=Pacers and site=away and 20061030<=date
SU: 5-2 (4.6)
ATS: 5-2-0 (2.5) avg line: -2.1

with the limited scope of only 3 prior wins -- Nets are 0-3 straight up, 1-2 vs spread after win...so odd are they don't light it up. Laying 3.5 doesn't scare me too much...but why??? Both bad teams and hard to predict. Considering betting on the bad D with over 192 though??

Agree with the Clev and Lakers sentiment tonight so far.

Coach Phil has been very vocal recently regarding his team's play and they have responded. Despite the obvious look ahead to Boston and the way Philly has been playing I expect a 10 pt win. Bynum has been subject of a lot of talk recently both in trade rumors and surrounding his All Star non-selection.

LeBron scored 12 in 33 min in his last game, have to believe he'll get his 30 tonight in a lopsided affair.

I've had about a full two weeks off of capping due to job interviews and the like + the crappy couple weeks I had prior to that needed a little break, so I'm back on the mission now and will provide more daily input.

Glad to see everyone banging out winners left and right. PittViper, Grindstone, Jbril, 40, Billy have been doing awesome. Keep up the good work guys and let's get some winners.

One additional play for me tonight:

GS/Char O 209, like this one despite multiple game road trip for Charlotte and the OT in Phoenix the other night, had a couple days rest for this one, should be up/down the court with GS, history in past 4 on my side with this number.
