thanks fellas. we're up a few more than normal. changed money management strategy for the playoffs and giving stoffo's 2_6 system a shot. working quite nicely. up almost 5U instead of 2.9U. I think the system might work for a one/two play guy like myself. back to work, gotta get another winner for tomorrow.
Yea I started using the 2-6 a few months ago mainly because Im infected with atrocious money mngt skills. It has been good for me (keeps me from crazy chasing), you're correct though, its only really plausible if you play one or two plays a day, other wise you need to run multi sytems, which seems a little self defeating for my purpose.thanks fellas. we're up a few more than normal. changed money management strategy for the playoffs and giving stoffo's 2_6 system a shot. working quite nicely. up almost 5U instead of 2.9U. How does the 2_6 system work?

Anyway ,I enjoy your anaylisis, thanks, I dont seem to have the time I used to and its nice to
have confidence in your (and others) efforts.
BOL
I actually did google the stoffo 2-6 system and couldn't find a complete description.
Looks like a modified martingale, or cross-off system.
But the example showed 4 losses followed by 2 wins.
What happens if you win the first game. Start a new series or still bet the second level?
Here's what I found.
The 2-6 Straight Bet System requires that you win a minimum of just 2 wagers in every 6 bets made in a Series, and pre-calculates your ?Series? of wagers at $11, $22, $44, $66, $88 and $132. In other words, your ?Series Amounts,? or the dollar figure you will be wagering or attempting to win, will be
11-22-44-66-88-132.
In keeping with this, I am going to have you take your Personal Betting Bankroll and divide it evenly into 4 equal ?Betting Blocks.? For example, if you?re starting with a Personal Betting Bankroll of $1,600 (based on a portion of your Total Disposable Income), break it into 4 equal Betting Blocks of $400 each.
$1,600 Personal Betting Bankroll divided by 4 = Betting Blocks of $400 each.
The Proof
It?s one thing for me to boast that this System can turn a profit for you if you can pick just 33% winners, and it?s another to see it in black and white. Below is the proof.
First, let?s look at example where you pick just 2 of 6 (or 33%) winners while betting traditional 11-10 odds against the spread, say on football or basketball games.
Bet $ Wagered Result $ W/L Net Profit
#1 11 lose -11 -11
#2 22 lose -22 -33
#3 44 lose -44 -77
#4 66 lose -66 -143
#5 88 win +80 -63
#6 132 win +120 +57
Thanks to Ax I have found some more information on this system...it seems very interesting. Seems like it might work well too...I think I may give it a shot and see how it goes.
BigW,
There is a little more to it than the small paragraph that was posted about it. I have a link with a lot more info on the topic, but I know we are not allowed to post links in here.
BW,
Go to google, then search for "stoffo 2-6 system money"
Then when the results come up from the search, click the third result from the search which reads "PDF] Money Management For the Year Round Professional Sports Handicapper"
Its has all info you need about it...
