With what's out now...anyone else liking OKC +10.5?

I'm not seeing much else but that could change by tomorrow. :shrug:

Historically close games, OKC riding 2 game win streak with some rest to go up into Denver for this game. 20-7 over in this series as well.

your "home boys" motivation laying 8 vs Memphis may be in question...but I hate betting against teams that are clearly superior on that motive alone.

May I chime in.

OKC battled a very tough 2H tonight vs Cleveland. Cleveland put the clamps down on them and won the 2h by 18. Now they get on a plane to Denver where Denver is a beast at home. B2B not good with Denver waiting for the pounce after dismantling Phoenix in the 2h of their game by playing sick defense Sat night and getting almost 2 days rest.

I must have read the schedule wrong when I looked last night or before the game was over, thanks for pointing that out.

Leaning AZ myself, nothing on total for me because you just dont know which AZ team will show up and which SF team will show up. SF has potential to keep it low scoring or they could give up 28 in 1st H. BOL whatever you do Ools may your wagers be winners :mj06:

Still waiting for lines on the IND/ORL and WAS/LAC, but all I see right now is also OK City +9.5.

ORL is -12.5, I'm actually tempted to lay that. If it goes down at all, definitely willing to lay -11.5

leans

PHI -4
NOR +9
OKC back up to +10.5, but Denver has been a monster laying 8 to 12
LAC -1.5

Good Luck,
Bart

something caught my eye here.

OKC is in exactly the same situation as they were in last April 8, 2009. Coming in with no rest and DEN with 2 days rest. DEN won 122-112 but OKC was getting 13. I'm only looking at this season and the previous 2 since it's close to team makeup. OKC in this situation is 5-3 ATS. What's rather noteworthy is realy the total here. This situation for OKC is 8-0 OVER

team=Thunder and rest=0 and season>=2007 and p:site=home and site=away

add to this fact that OKC with no rest coming off a home loss and playing away 2007-09

5-1 ATS
6-0 Over

team=Thunder and rest=0 and season>=2007 and p:site=home and site=away
and p:points<po:points

and just for kicks, 2007-09 OKC playing a .600+ team at home and losing then going on the road and playing another .600+ team

3-1 ATS
3-1 Over

team=Thunder and season>=2007 and p:site=home and site=away
and p:points<po:points and 100.*Average(poo:points<po:points@po:team
and po:season and po:season=season)>60 and 100.*Average(oo:points<o:points@o:team
and o:season and o:season=season)>60

Not selling anything fellas, just sharing info.

Denver looks to have adopted the Boston and Los Angeles Lakers ethos of playing close for 3 1/2 quarters and then exerting enough effort to close out a win, which doesn't necessarily bode well for covering a large spread; the last game in which they truly went HARD start to finish was the victory against the Lakers.

i don't know about everyone's system , but i have noticed that since Frank has left and Harris reutrned, NJ has been over valued by about 4 pts and their totals have been over valued by about 15. the thing is ithey've been hitting the totals , but not the spread.
I have noticed the same with the sixers since their losing streak and now iverson return, about 4 points. Now the public has pushed it to 5.
both teams have been unable to cover what I have seen as an over value.
I've played the last 4 games or so of each with success.
Just wondering if anyone has seem the same.
Having said that eventually philly has to win right! and G.S. although their total have been down it is not because they haven't tried. They just haven't hit their shots. Philly loves to drive to the basket and with no big man can do it all night long.:shrug:
