I have noticed the same with the sixers since their losing streak and now iverson return, about 4 points. Now the public has pushed it to 5.
both teams have been unable to cover what I have seen as an over value.
I've played the last 4 games or so of each with success.
Just wondering if anyone has seem the same.
Having said that eventually philly has to win right! and G.S. although their total have been down it is not because they haven't tried. They just haven't hit their shots. Philly loves to drive to the basket and with no big man can do it all night long.
Slightly unsettled by the "eventually philly has to win right!" Not being critical, but Philadelphia could go on a long, long losing streak and no other team could care/offer sympathy - although their next 2 games seemingly look to be inevitable losses (but given the fickle nature of sports betting, isn't a given); based on what's been on display thus far, the players haven't bought into Jordan's modified Princeton offense, likely b/c it demands personnel to sacrifice their personal stats in lieu of team play - hard cuts to the basket, backdoors, etc. - not the individual one-on-one play that the 76ers are inclined towards, a byproduct of many of the players not having been properly schooled through 4 years of college ball.
The Warriors have played better under Smart than Nelson, maybe b/c he's such a contrast to the curmudgeonly Nelson and less prone to irk players w/ the petty mental games for which Nelson is famed. The Warriors like to run - Philadelphia prefers that style of game also; given the propensity of both teams to shirk defense, this game could be up for grabs for either side.
