Hey Ax,

I couldn't reply earlier, since my account had to be activated by mods-- I could only tail. But I loved the Orl/NY and tailed for two units...another amazing play!

Take care and I look forward to the discussion for tomorrow.

PnP-

not to be a downer, but I apologize if I drove you to taking Charlotte. That was a disgusting 15 minute stretch of basketball. 9 points in a quarter, wow. But this Knicks under really saved us!

Like I said, I only had a couple of small parlays on them. No worries, we'll beat the books in tmr! kurby

Pinnacle, bud. Best book IMO. It gets hit hard by line movements though but should have the best juice regardless. I think I pay -110 juice like once a week tops.

Hope you are doing all right after getting hit hard last night. :)

etz: Do you like Liverpool tmr, mate? There's the whole "if they're really contenders then they should win tmr" plus the ML isn't too juiced.

Wow, guess scores and odds doesn't include them in their line movments. Can't complain 5-2 on the day,but that bad beat I took on clev. really doesn't sit very well in my mind. LOL Not sure if you seen that game or not.....................

And like a broken clock that's right twice a day:

Lakers cover...

Chicago is Jordan's house; Bryant doesn't want to be embarrassed by the team that's still identified w/ MJ. He wants to have the same legacy that Jordan enjoys and metes out what's required for his team to plow into the half-time deficit and get the win, emphatically as well despite John Salmons looking to pad his stats at the end. And finally a half-time bet on the Lakers line covers as well...

Onto to tomorrow.

Hope everyone at least came out ahead if not well.

I was considering it, but here's the rub; when Liverpool isn't expected to do well, they do... When they are, they falter - see Middlesborough...

Villa have been dogged by the press about their recent shortcomings so it should set up nicely for the Reds to win, right?

Liverpool and Arsenal have confounded over the last 5 years that I've bet on 'em; they either draw or lose outright.

IF Villa dominate possession tomorrow w/ nothing to show on the scoreboard, there's a very good chance Liverpool get a win.

I'm probably going to stay away, but WOULDN'T be surprised if Villa pull off an upset; don't quote me on it, but Villa is the UGLY choice tomorrow and you know how that plays out...

ETZ, I am of the belief that you ride the hot streak until it stops rather than trying to predict when it ends. Off arguably two the biggest wins in their (recent) history, it's hard to go against Rafa's Reds.

No, you're absolutely correct; but if you look closely at the 2 games - Real are a shambles, they really are; no matter what the Spanish press would have one believe, Barca are the team and the only team in that domestic league. Easy to flatter yourself when playing against subpar competition and there was the added motivation/incentive of Benitez getting one over the team that he supported as a schoolboy, even being passed over for a permanent managerial position (assistant, I believe) b/c Real's upper management found Benitez to be pragmatic in his objective as opposed to playing 'pleasing football.'

The Man U victory is the more interesting of the 2 - all 4 goals are a direct result of individual errors; Vidic twice, Evra once, and O'Shea once - it's a catalog of comedic errors, but isolated incidents in a full game - now take that in combination w/ United's flat performance (1st half especially) against Fulham today.

I'm a Reds supporter - love the tradition of Paisley and Shankly, Daglish, Rush, European nights et al. Would love to see Liverpool finally win the domestic title after such a long drought. But that would be the fan in me, prone to emotion - and I already bought into that w/ United today...

You gotta go w/ your gut, PNP - I played a double chance last time out w/ Villa - either a Villa win or Tottenham victory; didn't think that a draw would suit either side and thought the Spurs could do one over Villa. My hedge there was toward Redknapp's players - my lean tomorrow would be w/ O'Neil.

Best of luck whichever way you play and if you do select the Reds, you know I'm pulling for 'em as a FAN.

We got a good one going with the POD since we've been here at Jack's place.

Thanks Jack

Way to go Ax, and everyone else who contributed today. Tailed your two 1U plays, getting a win and a push out of it. Wish I could've contributed myself - been extremely busy, worked OT today, but like you tonight, pulled myself away to sneak a peek at what's going on. Most excellent ! :toast:

A few good options for Sunday, hopefully. Talk to ya late night in a bit...

I've got my numbers ready for tomorrows thread and starting to look at trends. I have only crossed three games off the list so maybe some good value available.

There are a couple of considerations to take into account; Laursen's absence really has hampered the defensive stoicness of Villa - but Liverpool's success at a victory (i.e goal scoring) is pretty much predicated on Torres and Gerrard.

Villa haven't really figured out a way to fit both Heskey and Carew together - can Liverpool stop both? I like Skrtel as a defender and Carragher as well.

Midfield:

Mascherano - he's been magnificent; it's little wonder that he's captain of Argentina.

Gareth Barry - he seems to have finally dislodged the transfer to Liverpool from this past summer; does he come out tomorrow looking to play well against Liverpool even though it was O'Neil who blocked the transfer and no fault of the Reds.

Give me a breakdown of what you think favors Liverpool tomorrow - I'm interested to hear a counterpoint - it's easy to get caught up in the belief of one's thought processes (guilty as charged ALL the time) and I always invite opposing or alternate angles...
