getting ready to hop over to ocracoke island where the latest future mrs. loophole will meet with the minions who will put on the wedding festivities next may 9th. jack, kosar, ar and all my old madjack buds should let me know if you feel like coming; the festivities will be memorable and ocracoke is a special setting for those who've never been there.
my posted play this weekend moves to college hoops for the packs visit to new orleans:
nc state -8: the pack travels to the big easy as a part of the buyout package of monte towe's contract when he left the privateers to be sidney lowe's assistant. turns out it's also a revenge game after new orleands knocked off the wolfpack in raleigh last year. but both teams look a lot different this season. for the pack, the talented but disruptive jj hickson is gone and the point guard is shored up by the return of a more mature gonzalez and a healthy degand. meanwhile, the privateers return just three lettermen from last year's squad. a lot more i could say about this matchup but got to leave for the ferry. should be an emotional night with towe's return and the reopening of lakefront arena after katrina, but all things considered, the wolfpack should win this game by double digits.
