Good luck BBC!

I liked some of your post UM/ND thoughts, but one thing that I feel is for real is the improved OL play. Read at bluegrayskies over the summer a nice article about all those sacks. Close to 1/3 of them were on the QB, not scrambling away or even running out of bounds before the LOS. Claussen looks so much better back there. Calm and in control He ran away from the UM rush and threw the ball away, living for another down.

I like them today as well....its a road dominated series and MSU is just 12-22 ATS as a home fav. C'mon, trusting Sparty in a big spot. Please.

Love that Valenti meltdown, by the way. listen to it a few times a year when I need a belly laugh.:mj07:

Laptopgate? Weis insists Irish weren't cheatingby FOXSports.com

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Charlie Weis' coaching career is closely tied to that of Bill Belichick.
After Notre Dame's 23-7 loss to Michigan State on Saturday, Weiss may be identified with "Laptopgate" in the same way the New England Patriots' coach is with "Spygate."

Weis insisted the Irish weren't trying to break the rules by having a laptop computer in their coaching box during the game.
"It wasn't like there was somebody trying to do something illegal," Weis said.

Michigan State spokesman John Lewandowski said the school asked a liaison to the officials to remove the laptop after noticing one being used by Notre Dame. The liaison took the laptop out of the Irish coaching box during a break in the first half.

"The first thought you have is, 'Are they tracking tendencies or other data,"' Lewandowski said. "You cannot use that type of that resource in the coaching box. That's just like you can't have a replay monitor."

Weis said the officials approached him about the laptop and then he asked offensive coordinator Mike Haywood about it.

"I asked upstairs if there was one," Weis recalled. "I was talking to Michael and he said, 'No.' Then, I guess one of the interns had one over there. Then I immediately told (the officials) that there was an intern (with a laptop) and he took it off a ledge and put it on the floor."

Weis said he told the officials that he wasn't trying to do something improper while walking off the field at halftime.

"The last thing I ever want to do is lie," he said.

Weis served as offensive coordinator for Belichick and the Patriots from 2000-04. Belichick and the Patriots were fined and sanctioned by the NFL last year for videotaping opponents' sideline signals.:scared

..............................................................

LOL...of course...blame it on the anonymous intern. Yeah right...an intern is going to take it upon themselves to show up in the coaches box with a laptop...and nobody noticed it until Michigan State pointed it out to the officials.

Weis = Weasel.

He is coaching for his job at this point...he'll do anything to save his fat jelly-roll ahzz.

Do me a favour and keep on coaching Charlie...loving it!
