Not questioning your play buddy... but would you place another wager on UNC if they were dogs like they are now?

corley, I like it even more now knowing that the number jumped so quickly. People are thinking of LSU and UNC last year, both teams have lost some and gain some. UNC is the better team this year...

I'm not too sure about about backing USM... They were a horrible team on the road last year... SCar usually plays pretty solid at home and clearly has the better D

I like MTSU at home... Remember what happened to Maryland a couple years ago?? And MTSU has a lot of weapons coming back... Minny has 2 starters returning on D :scared

It's still the Sunbelt vs Big 10...although I realize Middle & Troy are usually a lot better than the average Sunbelt team. It still always gets my attention when a lower conference team is laying points to a stronger conference team. Remember So Miss & Virginia last year. And, remember what State did to them last year. I guess the thinking could go either way tho, and pretty sure Middle doesn't get 'overlooked' like they used to.

They arent a very good team on the road, your right, however, 14 points is way too many. They are a very solid defensive team. S. Carolina will have a hard time putting up points...

LDB... USM was 80th in total D last year... 43rd against the run... 109th against the pass... and 62nd in scoring D.... they gave up an avg of 32.42 ppg away from Hattiesburg last year (1-6)

Yes I do Corley. I guess what I was really trying to say (besides the obvious conf difference) is that Middle is not such a well-kept secret any more (as they were a few yrs back) and the OM has caught up to them. Adding to that I don't think Minny really gets that much respect. In short I'm just thinking theirs no value for Middle.
Middle seems to perform well against bigger name teams when they're the dog and as a favorite when they are clearly the better team. Other than that think they are a shaky play...:toast:

Same to you Corley...I'm not saying I was going to play Minny...just didn't like Middle in that spot but you sure may be right. The more I got to reading up seems the over may be the way to go.
