cruncher... remember what MTSU did to USM last year??


LDB... USM was 80th in total D last year... 43rd against the run... 109th against the pass... and 62nd in scoring D.... they gave up an avg of 32.42 ppg away from Hattiesburg last year (1-6)

I was talking about being an overall good defensive team. The few games I watched last year, they held their opponent to under 14 both games. This team is very good at filling holes.. 14 points too many imo.. Public will be all over S. Carolina at home on their opening game, not me....

Same to you Corley...I'm not saying I was going to play Minny...just didn't like Middle in that spot but you sure may be right. The more I got to reading up seems the over may be the way to go.

Hard to even make a case for a look ahead game being the first week of the college football season, but South Carolina does have Georgia the following week. Small possibility but it could be a factor laying 14

I posted in another thread that if I were to play this game, I would buy half a point. For some reason, I feel this could be a 28-14 type game. No matter what is said, S Car will be looking ahead to the Georgia game. Just my two cents.

it is a big look ahead spot for S. Carolina, however, not sure if I believe that will be a factor here just because its their opening game at home...

Haha I have a magazine helping me :0074... I see a lot of USM down here and they were a good offensive team last year and solid at home but man they were a bad road team... I think SCar's D will be the difference in the game... 31-10 Cocks

i agree with your take on UNC, but i also question the week 1 AT LSU factor. seems that the sharps have been on the home team side. maybe it's to hop on UNC +3 before gametime. idk. just saying.

I was talking to my friend today and told him the line and he even said SCar will blow them out... not that that is the deciding factor for everyone but USM hasn't been a very good defensive team since Bower left. I don't see USM putting up much of a fight on D and having some success on offense just not a lot.

I also saw on Bookmaker earlier that UNC is now -1 :scared

CRIS/Bookmaker moved on about 30 games yesteray afternoon. LSU/UNC was one of them. All the other books followed suit.

there are many reasons why

1) adjusting because someone sharp bet them
2) adjusting because someone sharp bet them only to come on the other side and bang it harder
3) adjusting to even out the money

and likely a combination of the above 3
